Hoping for the best for the kid its pretty cruel just as he gets his chance. The knee is such a critical part of the body any impact/wierd angle tackle can do damage.Probably take 24 hours for swelling to go down then MRI to see inside .
Great report on a shocking poor game but its another point on the board . Any news on the kid Jimmy Dunne sent off on a stretcher I checked out the Stoke official site but nothing .
Like most of my QPR predictions I got this wrong but at least it included one of the best throws from the Chicago QB (tie up the game) and one of the worst from him in overtime as the Bears were driving which ended up costing them the win. That winning field goal just squeaked inside that post 5 yards further away and it was going to miss IMO. Anytime Clive writes up about a freezing cold night in Stoke or Preston just look up this game and the Pats V Texas highlights on Youtube it will warm you all right up
You forgot the Bears they are not going to roll over today.1 of the coldest days of the year in Chicago ,savage cross winds, LA have not won a game this year outdoors in frigid temps, worst special teams in the NFL ( Rams I mean ) and facing N0 1 ranked team with 4th quarter wins in NFL history. Bears have the top ranked Special Teams including Punter/ Kicker , Top ranked defence in interceptions, home crowd in full throat, Coach of the Year and most important incredibly underrated QB in Williams and Tight End Loveland who is unplayable right now see Green Bay. Stafford is an excellent QB with 2 excellent Wide recievers who will freeze to death and drop all his balls. Bears 27 LA 17
Lost in the confusion about his "horrible displays for us " was the chance he/ defender bundled wide by 2 inches yesterday which would have won us all 3 points . Kone is like every striker in the world feed him the ball bearing down on net and its buired which he has shown. See how frustrated he gets when he is in the 6 yard box ready to attack a cross while we continue to either blast it miles over or into the side netting at the short side for nothing. Give the man the ball see what happens
At a No Nukes concert in NY early 80s the headline act was Bruce Springsteen whose fans simply screamed Bruuuucccceeee all night until he came on.Tom Petty was just before him and after his set he was very angry at the disruption but the reporter said dont worry they were not Booing you just saying Bruce and he simply said whats the difference they did not want to hear my set end of story. QPR pulled a point yesterday in a very ugly game with hostile fans and bad officials. Upsetting we could not repeat the West Ham display but we WILL beat Oxford and its all good again
Watched the same video he has been a big let down at the 3 or 4 clubs so far and apart from a few flashes with us another dissapointment IMO. Simply put not strong enough for the hand to hand combat in our league, way too selfish dribbling into traffic and losing the damm ball, no gut bursting runs attempting to make up for his poor decisions, is firmly on the refs radar for throwing his hands up looking for frees so getting nothing there either. Cannot take a corner or free kick and sulks when he is subed off nowhere close to a team player but JS loves him and is ever present in our starting 11 I throw in the towel
Problem with that is injury risk and he has been limping /hobbling/lying on the ground multiple times this year luckily so far without getting killed dead.Of course he will eventually get the straight red and probably injure some poor guy like Jimmy yesterday which is just so unfortunate for him hope its just a sprain not break .If Mbengue went through like that it was going to be red without question
The bookies might have been right but I thought the refs were shocking in overtime there Boston . The rules official said on the live broadcast the refs are letting the handfighting go and suddenly the flags started flying all in favour of Denver. That catch/interception by Allen in overtime was suspicious also IMO he was down on his back with the ball in his hands to my eyes but it was ruled a pick . Edit. I have to add to my post after hearing BO Nix the Denver QB broke his ankle on the second to last play yet managed to throw that incredible winning pass to propel Denver into the AFC Championship game and is done for the year.So are Denver now despite their great Defense a back up unknown QB is getting them nowhere
Agree 100% with this post the ref was very poor and was getting some serious abuse from the Stoke fans I think it effected him.Mbengue getting booked when he was being held before the corner was a joke and was rightly furious .Jimmy Dunne was late with that tackle but his legs were on the ground just got him on the slide through and he was upset when he saw the stretcher.Thomas made no attempt for the ball just a direct blow to Dunne's head as clear a yellow as I have ever seen but nothing.Could be a very low score for the ref on the match report
Dembele is just a mystery to me I find his performances infurating and his selfish play grating on the nerves plus sitting on the ground waving his arms high very childish . However our Manager seems to love him and starts most games while contributing very little (Leicester an exception and the West Ham equalizer ) I would love the regular match attendees to fill in the gaps on what we cannot see on tv please .
Really happy for them Boston this is the true magic of the old FA cupcoming back to life . That place was insane Saturday and once they took out Palace I was hoping they would get another home game .Brentford will end their dream of course if they go full strenght they are excellent this year.
Won after playing horrible for almost 3 quarters then exploded in the 4th quarter for something like 7 times this year turning losses into wins . Gree Bay fell apart though and their kicker completly lost his nerve/skill when it counted the most. Chicago could make it to the SB if they beat LA in freezing temps next Sunday .I think Seahawks are overrated and SF running out of bodies
I know you were at the game so I will obviously respect your opinion over a tv viewer anyway was takling about 2 snapshots early on.Saito was coming down endline should have squared ball across to 2 QPR players but tried to squeeze it in and it was saved. Kolli had a free header fromour corner ( huge West Ham weakness) and instead of heading it back into the danger area he tried to score and it flew wide big chance there . Apart from that he was excellent fair play to the lad. Dembele came across as weak like always and yes he did have an great assist but his selfish effort from our free kick was pretty poor.I thought he would be taken off at the half . Speaking of half time how soul crushing was it for us to give up another goal just as the ref is about to blow his whistle we have to cut that sh*t out
I thought Bennie was very poor today did nothing to make his mark or maybe I am wrong. Burrell does so much pressing it was sad to see nobody do that West Ham are so suspect at the back we would have ripped past them with RB. Couple of poor decisions by Saito and Koli hurt us in the first half and wtf is going on with Dembele (apart from his assist) he was shocking IMO. Might beat Oxford or SW in that game but the Hammers had too much pace and dept in the end Still proud of QPR tonight lets rest up and attack the league with that heart
Watching by the fire I thought Madsen was poor today and missed a huge chance to impress a PL team whomight want a player of his skill fromthislevel. Again not the same as being in the staduium but felt strongly we could have won that in extra time but nobody to get that windfall goal for us . Knew about Summerville fromhis Leeds days just too quick and was up for the fight pure class .As was Bowen he was excellent I thought despite the poster above comments . Lets bring this performance level onto the league we can make top 6 easily
