Did you hear about the bloke admitted to hospital after swallowing 20 plastic horses?
An NHS spokesperson said he's now in a stable condition

Saints have announced a membership scheme for the Gasworks Bar underneath Kingsland stand
Not only is the most expensive season ticket £855 in Kingsland Premium, they now want £195 for the elitist privilege to eat/drink in the bar
This is announcement has gone down about as well as Wesley Hoedt's own goals. Utterly bad move from the club....
|Behind closed doors fans forum|
at 00:26 17 Jul 2019
Today fans that attended every home and away game last season were invited to Staplewood for a tour and fans forum with the board and manager.
Lots apparently coming from it -
On recruitment; there will 100% certainly be more signings but squad is too big and will be more departures.
Departures; finding it difficult to offload the listed players and a club that can match their wages. Austin and Lemina appear to be frozen out, not even a dressing room space and not included in any first team activities.
Naturally there has been interest in Redmond and Hojbjerg. Extensions have likely been offered but Ross Wilson playing cards close to chest, both are in the club's plans and want to retain at all costs.
Fan zone; planning permission has been granted and hoping to be open on south car park for liverpool game
League target: Ralph agreed with room consensus a 9-14th place finish is realistic and is eager to impress in cups
Ross Wilson and Martin Semmens revealed honestly rewarding Mark Hughes on a long term contract was a mistake and was no clear plan. Now there is one with Ralph H in place - he in turn has a huge input on day to day. Recently installing personal quotes on banners around training ground and also set a fines system in place
Ownership; Gao (like mentioned in previous articles) is in it for long term and fully invested. Wants to also improve local area.
Pre season; Ralph not 100% happy with the shape some of the players returned to pre season, some included some excluded. Obafemi appears to have recovered from hamstring injury. Lots of good work in Austria and good attitude shown by the group

Found it very interesting on the ticket information on club website,
This game will not go to general sale, supporters must have a purchase history, photo ID and membership card will be required on collection, print @ home not available and most importantly any fans supporting the opposition in home areas will be ejected...
Though that does pose a question, will fans in the hospitality boxes also be ejected? Last few meetings there has been trouble stemmed from the boxes by them over celebrating. Good to see the club taking some action on this match and probably other category a+ fixtures, there are always a TON of plastic away fans in the home seats. Is this the work or feedback used from the saints voice panel?
And £48 cheapest adult ticket, are they pricing out the occasional supporter?

|Smelly food banned on trains|

Bad news, smelly food banned following ground breaking British Transport Police announcement
A stinky sandwich, fermented fish or pungent late night grub on the 11.50pm service to Reading – we all know that smelly foods on board trains cause controversy.
That is why today, British Transport Police (BTP) is announcing a ground-breaking new step in cracking down on the consumption of all foul-smelling foods on board trains, trams and tubes across Britain’s rail network.
As part of new anti-social behaviour legislation, those caught consuming offensive edible items while in transit could face a penalty fare of up to £2,000.
From today, ‘Consumption of smelly grub’ will become the 27th Railway Byelaw, and repeated offenders may be issued with a Criminal Food Behaviour Order (CBF0) which could prevent them travelling on trains for life or coming within a 50 meter radius of a takeaway shop.
Officers will have the power to seize and destroy a variety of foods and snacks, and be issued with special protective gloves and masks to avoid possible contamination.
The move has been introduced following a wave of pressure on social media from disgruntled travellers.
To ensure all passengers have a hassle-free journey we have composed a brief list of prohibited items, which you are advised to please check before you travel:
• Fish (fresh and tinned)
• Blue cheese
• Sausage rolls
• Fermented shark and vegetables
• Fast food
Inspector Pete Pong, said: “Stinky food has been a long-standing contentious issue on Britain’s rail network and I am pleased we could respond to the public’s concerns and work to stamp out this very pressing problem.
“In my years at BTP I have witnessed numerous horrors, from those thinking it’s acceptable to crack open a homemade tuna sandwich, to others eating boiled eggs like apples. Not OK.
“BTP is proud to be a progressive force, and I hope passengers welcome this exciting announcement.”
Happy April Fools Day

Question, what is the worst atmosphere you've ever experienced in a football stadium?
All the top 6 stadiums - tourist attractions, deadly silent after the 1st minute gusto comes to mind.
