Sorry, I know it’s not even the close season yet, but here’s a thrilling post about someone else’s dog.
Article about Clough the not-so Younger now in the Torygraph. His dog is called Bobbi and yes, it’s named after Bobby Zamora! Seems he didn’t take too kindly to Derby giving him the old Spanish Archer.

Haha! That was my first thought when I saw the score. I can still see my old man coming over with a 5p piece after I’d switched the radio off when the 3rd went in to get some crisps from the Off-License - no megamultipacks in those days, Sunshine!
Many years later, I got talking to a Wolves fan in a Sydney pub and when I said I was a Rangers fan, it was the first thing he mentioned, because he was there that night.
Basically said that it was like a war zone before, during and after the game and you’d have thought Liverpool had lost, the way they smashed up everything in sight afterwards.

I recall when we signed Leighton James, he joked that it was good for him because it meant he wouldn’t get kicked by Dave Clement any more. |

I must have read those transfer fees - both in and out - half a dozen times and still can’t believe them.
Here’s us sh1tting bricks about spending £4.5M on Edwards and teams in that ridiculous league spend those amounts, only to end up playing us in our league next season.

We might not need any more for the DS, but we do need at least one who is ready for the first team NOW. We can’t get by with just JD, Cook and Morrison.
Wishful thinking maybe, but I can’t help thinking our fantastic 1 point in 9 over Xmas might have helped in Saints no longer considering us as a potential play-off rival and more likely to let him go? Madness to even think that, I know, but they don’t know us as well as we all do! |

I told a Whammer I know we sold out our 9000 allocation in a couple of hours, so he trotted out the usual “Well, it’s a cup final for you, innit”. I just told him that the 3rd round usually is for us, whoever we play.
Not as if we won’t be going back next season, by the looks of it. We think we’re a basket case, but Sh-t atmosphere aside, even we would struggle to fck up a situation where we’d been given a 60,000 seater stadium for nothing, fill it most weeks and still get relegated.
