Trump rubbishes Chagos deal
at 09:17 20 Jan 2026

At which point was he right? This time or last time?

I've said it before on here but sadly, the US with Trump in charge is no longer a UK ally.

He came from my boys grassroots team, as did Kyrel Wilson.

They played on the same side in a tournament last summer.

Do you think Starmer should have quickly replaced the 70,000 lost soldiers?

In the current climate, it looks like a sensible thing to do. Can’t do it quickly though and maybe the reservist plans will fill a gap?

As Keith posted earlier, since 2012 the army numbers have reduced from 180k to 109k

In the background China is quickly becoming the global leader in green energy.

It’s not an area i know much about. It’s a shame Soctia seems to have stopped posting as he gave some valuable insights.

Who is desperate to cancel elections? Who has called those who want local elections nazis? How many times have you been called a nazi?

Ironic? Who are these nazis who are terrified of elections?

Are they the same ones who’ve been calling you a nazi?

Yes, and you can find clips on the internet and they should be challenged.

As should people who claim to have been called nazis when they haven’t.

There’s an awful lot of snowflakery around ‘you can’t say anything these days’ types. It’s not helpful.

It does seem odd the Reform are going to fix Broken Britain by taking on some the people who broke it in the first place.

Add to that voters being fed up of corruption having to take on Zahawi.

Fair play to Badenoch and her advisors who played an absolute blinder today.

All that sounds right to me.

I saw that protocal for the agents is not to shoot at moving cars as there's the danger of what happens with an out of control moving vehicle.

Lots has been said too about the agents previous issues being dragged by a car. I'd say that if that's the case then there's a real issue around him being back on duty and in the same position.

Of course, we won't see any kind of neutral investigation as there's no real accountability.

It's that type of thing that's being used to clap back at Reform in my area.

The neighbouring county (Kent) is Reform run and has been an omnishambles. Anyone saying 'they must be better than the alternative' can be shown that it appears not.

I don't, mate. That's why I said I've not got skin in the game.

It could be where I am geographically but I've completley missed this rise from the Greens. I could also be that I've not paid attention because they haven't appealed to me in the past.

It's quite devided depending on what pat of the county you are.

In Brighton they're top dog (and have been for a while), but round my area they're not really registering.

Because of that it's come as a bit of a surprise to me that they're on the charge down your way

I've not got skin in the game but as things stand, I'd vote Plaid not least to keep Reform out.
