Great to see what it meant to the players. Well done Saints. Lots of fans there as well |

1 up at half time. Definite upgrade on McCarthy and Stephens. |

Saints women team face Wolves today in the National league play off final. It’s live on BBC if anyone is interested in watching. If successful Saints will enter the second tier of the league for the first time. |

It sounds like the stuff we were doing with the Dell for years. Tinkering around with an old ground that, despite its history, has had its day. If you want to progress you will have to build a soulless bowl like lots of other clubs. Sad demise of the old traditional grounds but they are no longer fit for purpose. |

Not Dyche for me. Burnley were awful to watch. Old school long ball stuff. With the links at Saints not sure if we could poach the Brentford manager. Failing that the Forest manager has done well. Eddie Howe might be shoved out at Newcastle if they want a bigger name to attract top players. |

Battling performance ? You have got to be kidding. We had nothing to play for against a second string Liverpool. IWe have a clown in goal and a team that last night and in recent months has shown itself to be unmotivated and simply not good enough. Based on the last 10 or so games this team with this manager will be nailed on to get relegated next season. Battling performance my arse. |

Wrong team. Refused to change it. Players look like they are not playing for the manager. Didn’t even go for it. As for McCarthy. How many times did he pass it straight to a Liverpool player. And we have just given him a new contract. He needs to go alongside Stephens and a few others. |

Our last home game of the season against a weakened Liverpool and this. I’m afraid Ralph can go. Pathetic team selection and subs when we go behind. Not playing Armstrong Romeu or Adams is a joke |
 | Forum Reply | Dear god at 20:23 17 May 2022
The question is where is Romeu. Baffling. |

Genuine question. Who would you get in ? And given the resources available how much further up the league or longer runs in the cups do you think the new manager will achieve ? I agree Ralph’s tactics can be baffling at times and we are either really good or dire. Not sure changing managers before the end of the season will achieve anything. I have a feeling though Ralph may be off anyway. He has hinted he may only have 1 season after this left and like Korman not sure Saints will accept that. |

Is the one who hung out with a sex trafficker with a taste for young girls still in favour ? The one who as a middle aged man liked young girls and has just paid off one. Are we still paying for his security ? |

Anyone else ? Are Johnson and co anyone else ? They came up with rules. They are in charge and are supposed to set an example. As for that bint Dorries saying it was for only 10 minutes. That is the same 10 minutes people asked to see dying loved ones for the very last time. This lot are an absolute disgrace. How anyone can make excuses for them beggars belief. |

This forums become full of whining bedwetters. Boo hoo. We lost. Ralph out. Saints and about 8 or 9 other clubs are in 20 year old Ford Mondeos. Ahead are the BMWs and Audis just behind the pack of Porches and Ferraris. Given this could anyone please outline how any other manager could take Saints beyond mid table and into the latter stages of the cups. Yes there have been some hammerings. This could be avoided by Saints getting 10 men behind the ball and defending against the top clubs. He has a go. We lose. Get over it. There are a host of clubs who would trade places with us at the moment. Big clubs in the Championship and League one would bite your hand off to be where we are. Grow a pair you bunch of jessies. |
 | Forum Reply | Irony Not Lost As Le Tissier Steps Down As Southampton FC Ambassador at 13:23 7 Apr 2022
As we saw in Rwanda and Yugoslavia there is increasingly clear evidence from a number of sources that there have been atrocities carried out against the civilian population of Ukraine. For Le Tissier to question it on the grounds that the media sometimes tells lies is at best misguided and to those poor victims and their families downright offensive. The club were right to get rid |

Everton were the better side but a defensive howler cost them. As you say not much quality on offer from both sides. |
