Stephen O'Halloran...played 120 minutes for the Swans and 25 (twenty five ) minutes for us around 2007/8.

Agreed on Archer. His first goal at SMS this season.
Eckert needs his fringe players to be ready and motivated for the final push. We've been lucky with injuries this past month or so. That can always change.
As for Larin...Love that guy. |

Surely there is nothing to debate here. Let's look at the pros and cons of being in the Championship next year..
Pros....Couple of lovely days out at Blackburn, Hull and Preston... Mmm..Fun?
Chance to beat the behemoths of English football like Charlton Oxford Swansea
Cons....Club's revenue off a precipice
Nigh on certain loss of Eckert
Extremely likely loss of THB, Scienza and Charles or Downes
Highly unlikely extension to Peretz and Larin loans
The Championship is for losers. We can be a functioning Prem outfit again.
As discussed a month or two back, Reynolds and his mate sold 10% of Wrexham for £25m to Apollo Sports (part of the giant Apollo asset manager)...a price that was no doubt based on them reaching the Prem. I can't see why Solak wouldn't dilute if the price is right and he keeps his UBO status.

Trump now thinks he's even smarter than he thought ( high bar )
Iranians can go back to do what they do best which is to negotiate in never ending circles without actually having any intention of agreeing anything. They will assume that any threat to restart the war by Trump is a bluff and they will call it.
They know Tump looked into the abyss yesterday and blinked. They can return to their favourite pastime...shithousery.

The Summer will be dictated entirely by whether we go up or not.
If we do, the chances of Eckert staying are pretty good.
If we don't, the sharks will circle Eckert, Harwood-Bellis, Scienza and probably Downes and Charles.
Then there are the Peretz and Larin loans to be addressed.

Shared an office once with a bloke from a Welsh mining family background.
He used to come out with this strange phrase to describe surprise..."Well I'll be rogered with a knotted pit-prop ". If he is still with us I would think he came out with it again tonight.
Glad Larin got on the score sheet.
Looking at our bench tonight, Eckert has basically created quality back up in most positions. |
