|Hasenhuttl Praises Oriol Romeu But No News Of A New Contract !|
at 09:41 13 Oct 2020
Not aggressive enough . Are we talking about the same player. !!
I would reward him with a new contract. There's no guarantee that the new fella will work out, although we all hope he will.
I'd probably start with the new fella and have Oriol on the bench.
Can't believe he didn't have any suspensions last term, as refs seem to be less tolerant of him than others.

Oh Tottenham. I missed them. Fair play then.

Don't get carried away ST. You have had probably the best transfer window admittedly. But you could not of hand picked an easier 4 teams to start the season off with.
I mean , Brighton,West Ham,Palace and West Brom. All teams that finished below the both of us last season and you would of expected to pick up points against. True, you can only beat whats in front of you, but sterner tests will come. I believe your next game is against Liverpool, and i wouldn't want to be the team that plays them next after their mauling at the weekend. You then have the little matter of facing us at ST Marys.
If you still have a 100% record after those two games I'll take my hat off to you. You will have a good season, finish above us and improve upon last season for sure. But i can't see you quite making the European positions.

just imagine drawing them in a cup at St Marys and 30000 Saints fans singing "We saved your football club".
Money can't buy those memories.

Agree with most of that . Although I'm reluctant to criticise Danny under any circumstances, as we would be in the crapper without him.
As for Armstrong, he'd be 2nd on my team sheet behind Danny Ings. He didn't look fully fit to me. I reckon we rushed him back from injury for this game because an 80% Armstrong was thought better than the other options available.
We really do need to get our arse in gear and get a new face in this week.

Considering Brighton made 11 changes from the weekend, and they brought on 3 nippers. They looked a real strong outfit. Compare that to us who basically played our strongest 11 and it highlights just how paper thin our squad is.
Admittedly the opposition this evening was poor ,but i was really impressed with Brighton.
I see marquis was booked for a very late elbow, didn't he do the same on Yoshi last season ?

You're right. This fella was real tasty.

No. He's more of a Ron pork chopper Harris.

1st half totally anonymous. 2nd half tactical switch to central defence. Responsible for conceding 2nd goal. On this performance would be very surprised if the Turks want to buy him.

For folks like me who have forgotten what the bloke looks like , Galatasaray live on BT Sport now..

Well here's your chance to judge for yourself. He's currently on Sunday Supplement on sky and will be discussing Saints.

We were never good at throwing it forward either. Remember Rory Delap. How many goals did we score from his monster throw ins. Not many. If any. When you think he played 152 games for us and he must of had a minimum of a couple of throw ins a game .
Now i'm no mathematician , but jeez , thats a poor conversion rate!

I thought Jose Fonte led by example. That passage of play in the second half when he chased down that fella in front of us was awesome. If that didn't inspire the rest of the team , then nothing will.
