I just watched Diallo be interviewed on PLZone. He said the news is good regarding his injury so looks like he'll be back playing soon. He also said that he was told before signing that he'd be third choice in his position behind JWP and Romeu when he arrived at Saints. Looked to be happy to be here and very positive in general. |

Surely the best measure of our defence is goals conceded per game. Since the start of the season we must be mid-table in that regard. Over the last 10 games we're probably higher than that... and now all the bedwetters have disappeared, funny that
tbh I can't tell if I_Would is a skate or the patron saint of mattresses

It seems that in the last quarter of this premier league season (9 games) Saints have:
Lost only 1 game, to Arsenal in hot conditions
Conceded 5 goals and had 4 clean sheets
But according to this site and several posters, Saints lack central defenders capable of playing well in this league and our top priority should be to buy better ones.
Can someone explain what I'm missing ? |
