Swansea City v Blackburn Rovers : Match day thread
at 20:33 19 Jan 2026

Let's hope the players understand this before the kick-off. There's no point diving at the slightest touch, as the referee is going to ignore it. We don't get given penalties for nailed-on offences anyway, so there's no chance tomorrow night. Keep standing tall and fight for it. Don't expect anything from the referee.

He would be one ahead of Armstrong, but for a wrongly given offside ruling out his goal against Birmingham away. What is impressive is how he is scoring with both feet and his head. For a championship striker, that is rare.

In fairness, one was a great save by the keeper pushing it onto the crossbar.

We're not too far away from that. There are very few Premier League games played at 3pm on a Saturday now for that very point. There is little point in a blackout if there aren't any games to show anyway!
So many other points on this. Friday night v Wrexham, live on TV, middle of a storm and 20,000+ turn up. There are no excuses really.

Relax; the researcher will get a job at WOL. He may be over qualified, but it's a job for life. His family will be on steak and lobster from now on!

Comedy gold! I put this up, and then Keith posts wrongly about Crawley a second time, Then Fireboy pinches my work and Gets all the credit! It's worse than WOL on here!

Almost. Morgan's Hotel. Spotted there on 29th December, so it's been a while agreeing terms.

Alan Curtis Lounge is sold out. Again, way too cheap at £85. It was £229 for Wrexham,

What about Birmingham's luck against us? A perfectly good goal by Vipi wrongly ruled out for offside!

Add in Vigs is glued to the goal line, and Millwall were having free headers in the 6-yard box all afternoon. The winning goal was inevitable. In fairness, a great header, straight down and very hard to stop. However, we were poor all afternoon at defending crosses.

It was Galbraith who let Ivanovic turn and score for the first goal. He had a poor game today. Add in the last game where all the WBA chances came after Josh Key had gone off injured, and the future for Galbraith is not at full back.

Sheffield have called off, as have Rotherham on the other side of the motorway. Quite a few in that Yorkshire area in fact. The 'tactical' one seems to be out of form Portsmouth hosting bang in form Ipswich. Both Bournemouth and Brighton played last night, so was it really that bad overnight? Portsmouth dodged a bullet there.

Myles Peart-Harris is supposedly on the Oxford radar for a loan spell from Brentford. That would re-unite him with Sheehan after his loan spell with us.

West Brom won't be selling any more after yesterday's performance. On the other hand, we may well have added an extra 1,500 ticket sales as our home wins continues to extend the run.
