Great win yesterday, fully deserved, amazing to see what a difference a few wins, a bit of confidence and a bit of luck can make!
I really enjoyed yesterday, but there was one thing that did put a slight dampener on the day. I was talking to a guy on the train on the way up that riled me a little bit. We were getting on quite well until he mentioned the fact that he makes the effort to go to all our away games, without bothering to go to any home games.
In some circumstances, this can be understandable. Location for a start - as is the case for me, I live a long way from Spotland so can only go to the odd home game. Financial reasons also - we all know how the club has priced out a lot of fans in recent times. But this guys reason was 'lack of atmosphere' and 'can't be bothered'. He lives 2 miles from Spotland and doesn't bother to turn up while he is willing to get up at 4:30am for an away match at Charlton. The mind boggles.
Bit ironic because our 'lack of atmosphere' is down to fans like him who can't be bothered to show up on a Saturday. I do hope that he is in a minority within our fanbase.

Running the Ealing half-marathon on Sunday morning in aid of Cancer Research UK. If you'd like to make a donation to my fundraising page I'd be very grateful.
For those of you making the long trip to the Den on Saturday I'll see you there (strictly no Burgers or pies for me!)

Who on here that missed the MK Dons game is going on Saturday?
Really hope we don't have a gate below 2000

We all know how limited the music variety is at Spotland, I'm personally a fan of much of the stuff Dave Sweetmore plays but agree that a change of genre wouldn't go amiss from time to time. There's more to life than the Madchester rock scene of 25 years ago.
Been listening to Automatic for the People by R.E.M and reminded myself what a fantastic album it is, I know it probably isn't suitable for a football match but what sort of stuff do you wanna hear more of on the terraces?

Heard through the grapevine we've manage to sell 1,600 season tickets. Anyone know how this compares to recent years? Suppose we might get a rough official figure at the fans forum on Thursday

doesn't display the prices for Under 21's (in previous years weren't they the same price as a Seniors ticket?)
the club have missed a trick here as a lot of students might be put off buying one thinking they will be paying the full adult price

Haven't seen anyone mention that we're guaranteed to finish above Bury now... must have been a lot of people's target for Dale at the start of the season

Anyone going to the Colchester game and got a spare ticket? Can't get to the Rochdale ticket office and it's a £2 admin fee over the phone

MASSIVE games at the bottom tonight. Oldham desperately need to win tonight really, if they don't and Fleetwood win then it looks very bleak indeed for the Latics. My money is on Fleetwood to stay up

My dad and I are coming up for our first Exiles Day in April and were just wondering whether tickets have to bought in advance or can we pay on the day? Our trust membership cards have come through and our places have been reserved. Thanks

Thoroughly enjoyed my trip up to Spotland yesterday, my first ever derby match and definitely one I will never ever forget.
Completely ran the show from start to finish, McDermott and Lund in midfield in particular had excellent games, NML and Hendo never stopped running, McNulty has truely found a new lease of life at LB, and we finally have a solid defensive partnership, none of this faffing around with it at the back, good old no-nonsense defending again, great to see.
As for bury - a true horror show, was expecting a tight game yesterday but they were just embarrassing, as were their fans.
Cracking atmosphere as well, best I've seen at any ground for a long time. Brilliant stuff, keep it up Dale.

A little premature maybe but if we win 8, draw 4 and lose 2 of our remaining games it would put us on 70 pts and surely in with a shout of a play-off spot.
Not out of all realms of possibility and it's about time we put a bit of a run together, particularly now Hilly has settled on a competent back four and we have the legend back!

Home fans yesterday. Apologies for adding to the trillions of threads on crowds but it just shows how far we've got to go to get the numbers up to an acceptable/sustainable league one level.

Just come on for United for his debut. Hails from Rochdale apparently, anyone know much about him?
