I had October to be fair.

Just shows what the financial penalties could be for WH if they don't get immediately back up. Obviously have panicked here.

The issue is the people running the club don't want an independant review telling them they are wrong and we know they have history of marking their own homework.

We are ready to make an impact on the top half of this league, but we won't if honest conversations can't be had about our injury issues. Williams going doesn't fix the issue, because they will just replace him within the 'methodology'.

We need someone running that department that is experienced within football or other like sports and can challenge and likes to be challenged. Someone that can create that culture of great communication within a department.

I know some physio's and S and C people that work in high level sports (university friends from my days at St Mary's), they all say it's one of the most fool proof areas you can get ahead of other teams, IF you get the balance of knowledge, planning, people and culture right.

I have nicknamed this bloke Rimmer........not because he likes to tongue punch balloon knots.

But because he is a hologram, i am convinced of it.

You are welcome Clive.

He won't ever throw a "Do they know who I am" Beckham wobbler either. He will wait and when it happens he will say all the right things and have his wholesome moment with his family that aren't plastered all over the place.

Beckham was a great player but a shit bloke.

Kane is a great player and a great bloke.

His humility and the way he has carried himself throughout his career is to be commended. He helped change the whole discourse around England.

I have done England H and A for 20 years now and after Iceland 2016 we were at an all time low. The golden generations last hurrah. Him along with Southgate then completely quietly changed the culture through being humble and working hard.

The way he has got better, every single year, year on year and now had his best year at 33 years old, shows you what he is made of.

His leadership is underated, as is his workrate. He is a complete football player and I love him.

Loan Players - Update
at 12:06 26 Oct 2026

I think it's more to do with Bradofrd having been on an upward tick for a while and having better players. I would expect to see them in the champonship in the next few years.

But we should recall Morgan and get him somewhere else playing regular football, even it it's league 2.

It is also a warning that we need to be careful not to overhype young players. The club don't help themselves with this either. That premier league cup win looks pretty average now.

Loan Players - Update
at 09:47 26 Oct 2026

Playing regularly
Cory Adjetey-Brew (Worthing, 4th, National League)
19 apps (14 league, 4 FA Youth Cup, 1 National League Cup) · 4 goals, 2 assists · 1,672 mins. The standout so far. He’s the most-used loanee by a distance and is putting up good numbers.

Jaiden Putman (Woking, 13th, National League)
13 apps (10 league, 3 National League Cup) · 2 assists · 850 mins · 6 starts
He wasn’t in the starting XI at first but was starting by mid-September. He was sent off three weeks ago and came straight back into the team on Saturday, playing the full 90 at centre-back in an away win at Scunthorpe.

Daniel Bennie (Dundee United, 4th, Scottish Premiership)
11 apps · 1 goal, 1 assist · 595 mins
He’s involved most weeks at a team near the top of the league, but he hasn’t completed a full 90 yet.

Fringe or mixed
Emmerson Sutton (Worthing, 4th, National League)
7 apps (5 league, 1 National League Cup, 1 Premier League Cup for QPR) · 1 goal (National League Cup, in a start)
He has only one league start and 99 league minutes.

Kieran Morgan (Bradford, 3rd, League One)
5 apps · 0 goal contributions
In the league he’s had only two sub appearances (28 and 9 mins), but he has played the full 90 in three cup games.

Ziyad Larkeche (Barnsley, 23rd, League One)
4 apps · 0 goal contributions
He’s been taken off at half-time twice, but both times as part of a triple change. He started and played 88 minutes in Saturday’s 2-1 defeat.

Struggling for minutes
Jaylan Pearman (Swindon, 14th, League Two)
6 apps (4 league, 2 EFL Trophy) · 0 goal contributions
He was taken off at half-time in his only league start.

Philip Sanyaolu (Bristol Rovers, 15th, League Two)
4 apps (2 league, 2 EFL Trophy) · 0 goal contributions
He was taken off at half-time in his only league start. Otherwise he’s been an unused sub every game, apart from two where he wasn’t in the matchday squad.

Joe Walsh (Wigan, 24th, League One)
He dropped out of the team before the end of August and hasn’t played since.

Tylon Smith (New England Revolution, 2nd, Eastern Conference)
He hasn’t made an MLS appearance yet.

Keeley Adamson
at 09:05 26 Oct 2026

I am starting to eat humble pie with Keeley.

I have watched him closely recently and here are my thoughts.

- Closes the space to the winger REALLY quickly, this doesn't allow the winger to get himself running at you and get you back pedalling side on. (Kemper also does this very well)

- Stops the cross (Easy game innit).

- Body position when the winger does get running at him needs work but has come on massively so far even this season.

This is enabled because he is now a fully developed 23 year old (24 in March). His atheltic ability will be there. Now he is adding defensive technique to his game.

The things he needs to improve.

- Be braver on the ball. He relies on the back pass to Jimmy way too much right now. To progress he needs to be braver and get his head up for the forward pass more.

- Work on his crossing. Not the best at the moment. A bit Michael Meaker.

- Driving with the ball at his feet. If he can add this to his game ala Mbengue, he will be a serious asset.

Overall, he is going to play, so considering his uptick so far this season you have to be happy with his direction of travel. I also like that we haven't overhyped him, we haven't plasetered him on socials and let him get on with it. Let young players fly under the radar (Emmerson Sutton anyone?).

QPR and injuries
at 11:35 10 Sep 2026

Broader context? Thats just an easy way out. Easy excuses for a bunch of people that drown you in statistics to drown out the noise.

Keeping people upright is where we can get an edge in this division. We have failed at this miserable for how long now? It's the single biggest issue holding the club back and it's continuing to happen.

There is one common denominator here......

Also, they have got someone literally sitting there ready to press a button when Jimmy Dunne heads the ball. It's so forced and so anti-QPR.

"Fan consultation isn't a priority for this regime"

And thats how things start changing, start forcing things like this on people, say it's just a song, say that young people like it. Then we start wearing the away kit at home.

What next? Doing away with tradition will not go down well with this fanbase, but feels like its co-ordinated as this regime have targeted young people with their online presence specifically.

It all starts somewhere and I don't like it.

Summer transfers the definitive guide
at 09:17 2 Sep 2026

The squad is looking in good nick and having seen some of the oppo so far, we should now be aiming to be right in the mix and probably top 6 by January. If that isn't the goal behind closed doors, with this squad and the state of the rest of the league.....

As Clive said they other day, if not now, when?

Non-related to the car giant site but also kind of related to the topic......

The cycle lane on wood lane has taken a year to be built. parts of it are finished but have been left closed.

It is absolutely insane how public infrastructure jobs take so long in this country. Meanwhile, Asia presses on.

Fan sites meeting with Christian Nourry
at 13:51 19 May 2026

"But it did appear from listening to the meeting it was a lot about trying to catch Christian out which I felt was my overriding element listening to the meeting and I am not aware of how it was clearly as was not there in person either."

He catches himself out by not having figures on season tickets available to hand when meeting a fans group. A good CEO would lie or have the figures available. Lee Hoos would have had them available, or he would have lied. Shows lack of preparation going into these meetings.
