Was apparently in the row behind Matt Teale of Meridian TV. I can only apologise for some fruity language that may have emanated from me if he reads this forum. Refused to purchase anything from that lot so stayed at my seat all pre game and half time. My son had pre match and halftime pints and said getting served wasn’t too bad. I was surprised as it was carnage trying to get to my block once inside. It really is a crap hole, I can only think back to the last time I’d visited a stadium that was worse than that, was actually back in 2004 for our trip there 3 visits previously before they put a roof on the slum. I suppose they’ve proved it possible you can polish a turd As much as a pain in the hole the buses were pre match I actually thought walking out of the ground and getting taken straight back really appealed to my lazy natured side Hope the ball boy who appeared to be injured by the flashbang thing was ok. Idiotic whoever threw that (sure it was them but have read claims it came from our side) |

Not disagreeing with you Nick No player has a perfect conversion rate, but AA hasn’t scored in our last 8 games I think? And going by recent form I don’t think he’d have scored the chance Leo took. He is in one of those runs where he just needs one to go in off his shin. |

That first one should have been finished. The second one he did what he needed to do but their keeper was in the right place and reacted well. I think if Leo's chance had fallen to AA he would have fluffed that. |

I wonder if speculation during the window does affect players by them not knowing where they might be. That said, he’s been badly off form in front of goal for weeks now. I think he’ll be moving on in the summer if he doesn’t this week. |

I’d keep him until the end of the season but have a mass clear out of the band of failure brothers stinking up the club. That said, sports republic will only find worse players to replace them with. |
 | Forum Reply | Actual attendance tonight EXCLUDING non-attending ST holders at 12:45 21 Jan 2026
I am not going tonight purely as midweek games are nigh on impossible to get down for without taking leave from work due to finishing times. That said, after Saturdays debacle, I probably wouldn't have bothered anyway. Christ knows why I'm going Sunday. I reckon 23K tonight. Given attendance will be 27k |

I drove up, no traffic at all until the last mile of my journey, was going to drive further in but ended up parking the car where I could. Ended up being a blessing in disguise as I managed a quick exit after the game despite staying right until the end. There’s not much round by the ground (that I could find) Ended up having a pint in the Birmingham fanzone in the end. Pretty friendly bunch all told My first ever visit there for various reasons, loved the ground. It is a shame they will leave it in the future, I’ll definitely head back there. Had the pleasure of being seated next to our yoof up the top by the home fans. Can’t fault them for their enthusiasm…. |

We’d have nothing to lose taking a punt on him. Even if he was off the pace he would still be better than Downes and Archer. |

Am doing Birmingham away/Millwall home, would have loved to do Doncaster away but I'm in Spain that weekend as I just assumed we'd draw Liverpool away again |

When does his contract run out? With him off the wage bill we might be able to get a target man in that isn’t made of glass. |

I did the Bermondsey beer mile, ended up walking from London Bridge all the way to the ground. Stopped at a few different places along the way. Well worth making the effort should we play them again next season (they are more likely to be heading up than us on Saturdays efforts). I thought they were worthy winners on the day. Decided to head straight back to London Bridge afterwards and was in the pub there by 17:30, very different experience to my visits to the old Den in the 80’s. |

I wish we could be more cynical in killing off other teams momentum when we're on the back foot. I know it's anti football but it seems every other team in the league is savvy enough to know to get your centre forward, then your goalkeeper, then a wide player to go down with an injury. Breaking up any momentum the other team are building. That is basic stuff, we just don't seem to do it when we're under the cosh and trying to hold on for something. |

I genuinely think we’re going down again this season. SR can change the manager as many times as they like, the players are w@nk. |

Didn’t spot a poll but as much as I didn’t think WS was the right appointment in the first place I have absolutely no confidence in the clowns in charge to change tact and go for anything other than another left field replacement. In which case we might as well stick with what we’ve ended up with (until SR are no longer making the decisions) |

Let’s hope his first act at Juventus is signing a promising forward player called Damion Downs for £8M |
