2 years ago the FA said they'd have zero tolerance for pitch invasions. Be interesting if they take action on this especially if a player was injured. If they don't, then it will be a nod to other fans it's ok... |

That doesn't make any sense. Effectively it says if a starting player falls ill/is injured after the team sheets are submitted, then only a player not deemed good enough by the manager to even make the bench HAS to start the game. That seems very counter intuitive unless it's to put off naming injured players in the starting 11 only to pull them at the last minute to disguise your starting team |

What was Bazunus injury? The original line up had him in it and lumley on the bench. Bit of a knock to lumley to get leapfrogged by McCarthy. However, I feel like we did just that bit less overpassing at the back which probably led to AM having a quiet game. I hope the manager saw that too and realizes that we don't need to overwork things at the back. Also, teams just got into the habit of pressing high then shooting on sight vs Baz. Maybe it'll work in our favor they might be playing against a slightly adjusted system over the next 4 games...? |

If we win all our last games we'll go up automatically. Play like we did in the first half and we'll win all 6. If we win the next three though, I think the pressure will be back on when we play Leicester and we don't seem to do well under those conditions. All we can do is hope however... |

No idea, no urgency, no creativity. Probably the worst we've played all season. I hope Martin calls them all out after the game. |

I thought this was a very interesting read. It's very true that a lot of wealthy, successful people are not happy and that we should not equate money with happiness. The commonality through all of this is that there is no support or eduction for the players. They should be helped to understand putting money aside is critical and that injury will cut many careers very far short of their potential. I can understand people not feeling sorry for them - it's one hell of an opportunity most of us would love to have (as I've said before, I'd play for saints for free if I was good enough!). Personally I do empathize that they often have smoke blown up them by agents, "friends" etc that just want their pound of flesh. When it all goes wrong no one is there for them and the "if only" thoughts would take a long to to recover from. Also a good reminder the grass isn't always that much greener despite the Range Rover and big house showed in the Manning video. |

First site that came up when I was intrigued as to what we are paying him. There's a lot of high earners that have contracts up soon but we do need to go back up and have a good clear out. But, as a lot of folks have said, it's been enjoyable winning a lot of games in the championship. I guess that will only last as long as the parachute payments do though... |

I'm guessing we'll go back to back 5, 2 DMs and try to nick a goal tactics after that. With Bellingham, Foden, Saka and Kane England should be terrifying opposition like Tyson not counterpunching and trying to catch the opponent out. Alas the journey of a Saints fan somehow is equally hard at the England level... |

I think he's pragmatic in that progressing in tournaments means not losing. It's boring football unfortunately but not losing also means having competent centre halves and not sticking with someone hoping they will suddenly roll back the years. I'd also like to see Mainoo come on for Gallagher second half. |

Maguire can't put a foot right... surely this is the last straw for him? Why put up and coming center backs in the squad then not play them in a friendly? |

I haven't looked shirt prices since I bought a baby saints shirt for my first child 12 years ago. I was shocked to see the prices. Especially for the children's tops. Surely there should be something like a 25 pounds cap on a child's shirt? Fine if you want to charge through the roof for an authentic one (I would love if someone could explain to me what this difference is) but it should be semi affordable for someone to by their kids a football shirt especially given it's short self life before a new one replaces it. |

I have a good mate who is a Derby fan. I think they went up and amassed the lowest points total in premier league history the next season (10 maybe?) - he wished we'd won for most of the next season if that any consolation! |

We will have to win 9 or 10 of the last 11 to finish second (probably including against all three above us). I don't see it happening unfortunately. |

Only saw second half but I thought we looked very good going forward and regrettable at the back. Martin got very emotional talking about will Smallbone in the post match interview. I've obviously missed something but what does that refer to? |
