We have young central defenders including Smith who can sit on the bench as back ups: no good for Morrison or us for him to hardly play the rest of the season. Playing regularly for Aberdeen is better than playing in League One IMO (just).
I honestly think it was the blue and white hoops: think I may have chosen QPR as I had them as a Subbuteo team as a little kid. It certainly wasn’t the style of football or success on the pitch as I started supporting them in the late 70s just before we got relegated.
He deliberately missed the penalty that would have won his country the tournament in front of a full home stadium of their fans? Not a chance in hell that happened.
This seems wildly pessimistic. Yes we have a lot of players out but I think we all agree our squad depth is better than it’s been for years so there is no reason to panic just yet. Think we’ll lose at Stoke though.
It’s the worst series so far for me: looks like the players are being directed to act in a certain way to make it more dramatic/better TV. Some of the behaviour just doesn’t look right. Reminds me of Big Brother: the very first series was interesting as it was new and nobody knew how to act up for the attention unlike subsequent series. The Law of diminishing returns in action I think.
Latest Jude moves like he’s got the weight of the universe on his shoulders. Previous Jude may have been a bit of a ‘ladies man’ but had sparkle in his lower paws.
He’s ok, hasn’t kicked on as much as we hoped yet but he’s still young enough to do so. Would definitely sell if we get a high offer as we have Field and Hayden who are certainly just as good as him at the moment. Certainly wouldn’t sell unless the money is good enough though.
But if he’d played regularly and as well as he did for us this season and Southampton were where they should be be (challenging for automatic promotion) his value would be a lot more than we are paying and they would be easily doubling their money if they wanted to sell him. He’s had a poor half season and we are benefiting from that.
His fitness with is has been more than decent overall. If we can get him cheap then we should do so as we have actual evidence that he can play consistently well for us. Would’ve thought that he’d have been recalled by Sheffield Utd by now if they wanted him back: Wilder has hardly played him during his previous stint.
Yeah we need last year’s QPR Ronnie not this season’s Southampton Ronnie but he’s young and got a massive scope for development with us: should be a great signing.
Good news and an excellent prospect but we’ve had to pay strong money for him as Southampton were never going to let him go for any less than they paid for him and they have will probably have to pay Peterborough a percentage as well.
Ah no what sad news. Alan spent a season or so sat in front of us in Lower Loft: we really started chatting after my Dad passed away and I was struggling with the emotions of him not being sat beside me watching QPR struggle on the pitch. Just talking to Alan and sharing his extensive QPR knowledge before during and after the game helped me a lot through those times. I missed him when he wasn’t there and it was great to see him return to games in the Paddock. What an amazing supporter of QPR he has been: I truly hope QPR pay a fulsome tribute to him at the next home game. RIP Alan.
Love seeing them struggle: a million miles away from their first Jose era of dominance. Can’t see Rosenior being able to get a tune out of their pampered underperforming overrated players.
Would suggest it’s likely we’ve lined up a permanent transfer out? Read somewhere about not being allowed to play for more than two clubs in one season but I assume that’s just league games as he only played in the Plymouth cup debacle for us.
I was also happy enough yesterday on the way home and think there has been too much negativity about the performance. We can probably count on one hand how many games we have won by at least three goals in the last two or three seasons in well over one hundred games so maybe we should appreciate the size of the victory even if we weren’t great for most of the game as QPR and big wins rarely go together.
