Saints At Crystal Palace The Verdict
at 20:47:43

Yes, totally agree that the Palace goal was down to poor defending but this isn’t why we lost this game.

As you alluded to we had lots of possession and efforts on goal but had a 0 to show for it-If you don’t score goals then you won’t win games, or in the case of yesterday, draw them, and this, like us being poor defensively, has been an issue for a few years as well save for the period over Xmas and June until the end of this season.

Saints Ask Fans To Be Patient About New Shirt Replacement.
at 19:42:35

Sorry the_saint but I have to disagree with you-this is a massive own goal (to keep the analogy football related) & Saints are going to lose so much money over this. The very least they could have done was to have a clear plan in place going forward so those that have purchased shirts know where they stand.

& yes, I was 1 of those unlucky enough to have bought shirts-nearly £140 spent on 3 shirts-but I was very lucky in that I only received my 3 shirts on the very day they made the announcement about LD Sports and so they remained in there packaging all tagged up. As you would expect I sent them straight back for a full refund and because this is yet another almighty cock up by Saints I will not be owning a shirt for the 1st time since 1990 because I just can’t be bothered with it and can spend that money elsewhere.

Reed And Lemina Go To Fulham
at 14:33:06

Great business from Saints-good luck to Reed, good riddance to Lemina.....again.

ElijahK: I think you’ll find that was Sims who changed the game against Spuds-similar in stature, just a very different hair colour!

Another Twist In The Weston McKennie Transfer
at 20:42:39

I wouldn’t worry about this if it doesn’t happen because he’s not that good a player, definitely no better than Hojbjerg.

I have been watching the Bundesliga for a long time now and, despite his age, McKennie has been around a long time and looked promising to start with but has subsequently stagnated, maybe even gone back in his development.

Of course he may well become an excellent player but he’s far from that at the mo and so I wouldn’t like to see us waste our money.....again.

I hope not just for the thought that Nick suggested they could swap JWP for Alli, I mean who would want to see that arrogant overrated p*&*k in a Saints shirt?!

Saints Announce New Shirt Sponsor
at 19:23:11

What an absolute fustercluck for those that have already purchased shirts-they must have had an inkling something wasn’t right before even putting the shirts on sale so shouldn’t have done so.

And what does that say for our apparently faultless, some say invisible, chairman, if a company he is, or and was, involved with cannot be trusted?

Please do 1 Mr Gao....

Loyalty Has To Count When Fans Return To Stadiums !
at 00:11:58

In my opinion it should be done on tenure for how many years a person has/people have had a season ticket consecutively, unbroken-it’s unlikely that Saints have supporters that buy season tickets but rarely use them, unlike at bigger clubs, so that should start the ball rolling on finding who is most deserving.

I don’t think away games should come into the equation because we’re not talking about away games, and I am someone that goes to a dozen or so away games per season.

Opening Day 14th August 1993 Saints V Everton
at 13:36:28

Not to forget in those 15 defeats up until Xmas we lost at Swindon, probably the worst team the premier league has seen, in a truly woeful performance, which in actual fact was a blessing in disguise because, although he lasted another few weeks, I think this result & performance was probably the final straw for Branfoot’s tenure.

Watt View - Wilson would show intent to challenge
at 18:37:50

Have to disagree-it would be boring if we all agreed!

Have seen a lot of Wilson and, yes he has a great delivery and score from free kicks, but I’ve never seen him offer much else to Derby & Bum Mouth-a left footed JWP if you will, just not as good.

Davepid: I hope I’m not tempting fate but I have to say it looked like we turned the corner towards the end of the season ref. struggling against teams packing out their defence & defending deep-before this season, before lockdown even, we never would have drawn & beaten Brighton & Sheff U respectively.

Destiny Day At Wembley For Harrison Reed On Tuesday
at 21:38:32

Certainly agree Nick-Reed seems to have a fanfare with the Saint supporters but I haven’t seen him do enough (yet) in a Saints shirt, or elsewhere, that suggests he will be a good, regular, Premier League player.

I too would love to see Brentford win, particularly how they play the game.....

2019/20 Season Review - The Central Midfield
at 20:36:13

SanMarco: Certainly not as football is today!!
The thing with Hurlock is that he was a superb footballer but that all used to be forgotten because he was a “hard man”, and he also used to get a very raw deal from the refs.

LordDZLucan: I echo everything you say, in particular your comment about Gunn not making any/many mistakes but I too have noticed that he also doesn’t seem to make many saves either-would love to know his goals conceded to shots faced because I bet it doesn’t read well with or without the 9-0.
