I think his pace will help with us press, and other teams will consider him a a threat on the counter which will help us. Hopefully his time at Orient has helped him - suspect he will be used as an impact sub and to give us some extra energy for the last 20-25 minutes of games so Kolli and Bennie don't have to play the full 90 whilst they get match fitness etc. |

I think Glasner leaving is probably their biggest issue, he will be harder to replace. |

Fairly horrific injury list when you lay it out like that. I guess you always have some inuries, but when it's this high I wonder how many are preventable, and how many are out of our control? Hard to know if we are Spurs last season loads of injuries, players overworked, bad pitch, cold weather, bad tackles etc and bad conditioning training or a combination of several factors. You'd hope when they injury list is this high some sort of internal review would be happening to see if there is a pattern and to reduce the chance of it happening again. |

18 months left, so taking the money if offered I guess. In fairness they would be right to have confidence they can scout some decent replacements and put themselves in a strong financial position to do so. |

I think you are right, but think he will play Morgan instead of Field if not Adamson. |
 | Forum Reply | Team for Stoke? at 14:31 16 Jan 2026
I think we might go: Walsh Adamson Dunne Cook RND Morgan Madsen Hayden Smyth Kone Kolli Subs - Bennie for Kollie, Field for RND, Edwards for Cook. I like Morgan, but don't really like him at RB, I feel he's better further forward and errors giving the ball away less problematic there whilst he is developing. I wouldn't mind starting Kolli on the left and having Bennie up front, if we think Kolli can last the whole game, but that seems a risk at the moment, especially with all our other injuries. Adamson is definitely a risk, but thought he did ok at West Ham and would rather Dunne stayed in the middle - happy to see how he does with a solid back 3 next to him. |
 | Forum Reply | Murphy Cooper at 13:17 16 Jan 2026
Pretty sure they mean Murphy Cooper to Sheff Weds, which would make sense all round, not Hamer. We get to see how he does in the Championship, and he gets some experience. Only downside is that they are so bad so he will conceded lots and lose lots of games, but as said on this thread he will get plenty of practice, and a not too pressurised situation. |

Doesn't sound like he was recalled, statement says they used an option to terminate the loan early. Strange one, I thought he was doing well there - maybe they have lined someone up to sign permanently. |
 | Forum Reply | Cat 1. Academy Plans at 11:39 14 Jan 2026
I think this is great news -though obviously we are just applying and the statement says it's not gauranteed we will achieve it. More money for Academy players sold, we will be more attractiive to players deciding between clubs, makes the club look better generally. Doesn't guarentee more players comming through the academy etc, but you'd have to think it should increase the (small) chance of it happenking. We still have to recognise a very very small percentage of Academy players make it, but we are giving ourselves a better chance of that happening. |
 | Forum Reply | Nardi Hamer what’s that all about? at 11:49 8 Jan 2026
You'd have to assume someone is off on loan or being sold- my preference would be Matteo Salamon so he can get some more experience which he needs more than the others, and he is unlikely to play with Hamer being retained. I think ideally both Walsh and Nardi go on loan, Nardi and Hamer fight it out the rest of the season and both will be gone next season. Next season we then have Walsh, Murphy Cooper and Salamon back - assume a loan for one of them again, Cooper eithert becomes No1 or is sold, and in that case we bring in someone else again,. |
 | Forum Reply | Daniel Bennie at 11:43 8 Jan 2026
I wonder if they are concerned with Kolli's fitness, want to manage him back into games so will rotate with Bennie, oir have Bennie come on after 60 mins most games. I think I saw somewhere Kolli saying he was tired in the last game, and Julien checked on him, so I suspect we think we can't play him as much as Burrell played (and Burrell played a lot and / or possibly a bit too much). |

The Morecombe website says he's 25 - I always thought he was younger. Maybe a chance for him with Varanne injured - I guess it's that or he is being sold or loaned elsewhere. Strange one. |

I remember applauding opponents goals, if outstanding etc, used to be reasonably common, and like clapping opposition keepers seems to have reduced or stopped mostly. |

Just to add to what others have said Clive, that's absolutely disgusting what has been sent to you. This site if superb, and your writing is unmatched - we all know it, and so do many fans of other clubs, it's such a shame people feel the need to have a go at people who are simply better than them. |

Real lack of quality in final 3rd cost us, they had a bit of quality for their first goal, that was the real difference at the end of the day. Frustrating match - low on quality but we got what we deserved. |
 | Forum Reply | Where are the Coal Mines at 16:14 1 Jan 2026
Still there for us, just need a goal back soon, and some quality in the final third. I'd hook Dembele soon if end productu doesn't imrpove, and Smyth has been quiet. Does feel like we should change something. |
 | Forum Reply | Where are the Coal Mines at 16:08 1 Jan 2026
100% not his fault, RND is beaten too easily and we lose their player. We can't blame Nardi for every goal conceded from a cross etc. |
 | Forum Reply | Where are the Coal Mines at 16:02 1 Jan 2026
Low quality first half, good effort though. I tihnk if we just show a bit more composure in the final 3rd the game is there for us. Feels like Smyth is trying a bit too hard the few times he has got the ball, but defensively doing a great job. Dembele good movement and runs but no end product at all, and less good defensively. Burrell and Kone linking well. Apply ourselves 2nd half and we should be good, so we will likely concede 1 minute after KO! |
 | Forum Reply | Two home games against the bottom two - Six points ??? at 20:28 31 Dec 2025
I voted 5 points over the 4 games, which would mean a draw and a win in these two. Games never pan out the way you think - if we get 6 points from both I'll be delighted of course. Should we aim for 6 - yes, should we expect it? I'm not putting any money on it. |
