Palace look awful - lack of quality and fight. Macclesfield deservedly 2-0 up

Sell Jon Varane ?
at 11:20 10 Jan 2026

I think if we get anywhere between £5-£6 mil, then we have to sell as that's the model the club is following.

Traitors UK thread **WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS**
at 21:45 8 Jan 2026

Yes, it was funny that Amanda the detective was wrong about everything and she confided in a traitor (Rachel) as well.

On the programme/podcast afterwards, Maz seemed to find it very funny that the detective got Rachel so wrong - wonder if he was a uniformed officer who made fun of CID/detectives.......

Maybe Lampard is just going for the rack and stack approach that other managers have applied when going for promotion such as Wilder and Sheff Utd and Scott Parker at Bournemouth and Burnley

Traitors UK thread **WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS**
at 17:41 8 Jan 2026

Some of the logic applied at the round table is a bit bizarre. All the fuss about Ross knowing Netty (and the fact Ellie is his girlfriend) - I don't quite understand why they wanted to vote him off mainly because he know another contestant - what difference does that make???

I'm am enjoying watching it but I'm not sure why!

tickets for Stoke away
at 12:04 8 Jan 2026

Most clubs seem to be digital for home supporters but for some reason still use printed tickets for away supporters - don't really understand why when they all seem to use a barcode for entry.

I do think though, all clubs should allow supporters to have a printed /physical ticket on request for those people, who either don't want to have a digital ticket or can't use a digital ticket.

Played a lovely one-two with Kolli to break into the penalty box - unfortunate that Kolli was offside

Morgan.

What I like is he tries to play forward and play ambitious passes so his pass completion rate may be lower because he doesn't always take the safe, easy option and play backwards.

I'm so confident that I've just stuck a tenner on Weds to win - they (and Bannan) are definately one of our bogey sides

Thought he was unlucky with the deflection when he tried to block the shot. I guess we got a bit of luck with a couple of the goals against Leicester and then a bit against us with the deflection going in for Norwich

Is anyone else feeling a bit depressed this evening?
at 14:20 2 Jan 2026

Disappointed more than depressed. When we win, particularly games like Brum and Leicester, even Blackburn away, it does give me a spring in my step and and general good feeling. When we lose, I'm generally grumpy fo about an hour and then forget about it until the next game.

The last 3 games, I've just been very disappointed at the way we have played.

January transfer rumours

Frey of last season would be worth keeping but agree that his performances this season have been poor and if he can get a move, it would be best for both the team and Frey

Gaffer on today's defeat
at 12:40 2 Jan 2026

4-4-2 has generally been successful for us so far this season, but it has been obvious for a few weeks (particularly away from home), that we need to be able to try something different such as 4-3-2-1 to block off the midfield.

My main complaint is that teams have now worked us out and we are dependent on individuals doing something special which hasn't happened in the last 3 games. As others have pointed out, most of the subs have been like for like without any tweaks/changes to the overall formation which sometimes you need to get back into a game or to make the opposition think.
