Late Kick off tonight

Dick. You have nothing better to do. In the time you waste on here you could spend the same time raising funds for Bury FC. What a sad tw*t you are!

I have enjoyed this forum for many months, just to keep up to date with the terraces because I live away from my beloved Rochdale now and can't get to as many games. However, the sinister antics of certain individuals over the past few days has not been enjoyable. Might I suggest that an obvious rogue post be viewed but not commented on. Whilst the initial reaction is to say sod it, what's the point, it would also be a shame if this/these individual(s) were allowed to carry on. It is not fair for the site manager to have to field all this rubbish in a voluntary capacity. Eventually these silly people or this silly person, will grow tired of their childish behaviour.

Great post ChaffRAFC... Been waiting for someone to say that, because as you say, it's not even worth responding to the obviously bored and silly person. How embarrassing for that individual!

Probably not, but I do remember being allowed a day off school to attend, on the production of a valid ticket, and then being being part of the 14,000 plus crowd... Happy days..Followed by being 3-1 up against Colchester, drawing very late on 3-3, then losing the replay 5-0.....colchester go on to that 'memorable' game in West Yorkshire!!!! Ah so Rochdale!

Just wish the players would react and be pro-active for a change, just so fed up with being let down with a massive crash! Why does it happen? Even in the promotion year the last ten games were awful! Oldham and Chesterfield have only just beaten Tranmere.....

Only Gippo's I've come across are arrogant rude thieves who have no respect whatsoever for the unfortunate area that they decide to plant their filthy camps.

And if we're back reminiscing as a kid, Smiggy was always the last man standing in the Sandy Lane...He'd have taken on Kendo I'm sure!

Giant Haystacks, along with Kendo, wrestling on ITV was the highlight of the week apart from walking in great anticipation, to Spotland! 50p or whatever in my hand to get in plus a bit for a programme and the wonderful pie! Happy days! Pre season match against Queen of the South and walking home again past the Highland Laddie hurling abuse at said pub... Hee Hee...

I do appreciate that technically what is being run here is a business, i.e. to make a profit for someone, but surely we must have enough experience by now, 105 years up and mainly down, to be still here! A remarkable achievement by any standards, to want to succeed? At some stage someone should take advice from somewhere to avoid the repeat of the early 1970's?

The obvious fact is that all of the players have at some time in their involvement with our club must have stated that they will play their hearts out to remain committed to our cause in the first division. They now have to start and repay that commitment. I'm for one, is seasonally tired over the majority of years to put up with a total lack of commitment on their behalf, to Rochdale Football Club. They surely must understand that to agree to sign for us knowing our history, should promise to deliver what the long suffering 'fans' want, regardless of who we are perceived to be. If not, don't sign and piss off! They, the players have the facilities to better themselves,be it a wooden step to excercise on or whatever, Do they want it? No, I don't think so. Defeat is easy to lay down and accept. Lions may want to differ!
