Yeh i'd go along with that. Injuries haven't been too kind either. Plus a crap ref tonight. But i couldn't fault anyone for effort.. Oxford were rubbish but we dropped our standards to their level.
You dont matter, or your opinions. Get over yourself. Admit it, you just enjoy trolling this board. Im actually enjoying this season. This team are giving it all they've got. I really enjoyed watching the West Ham game with 9000 of our wonderful fans, and I especially enjoyed celebrating the goal with my 17 year son , who loves QPR. He hasn't been dealt a good hand with his health, so moments like that ,I cherish. So f@ck you and shove your f@king opinions up your arse, you cretin.
Theres no point doing dry January if you didn't tell everyone your doing dry January. Im doing dry January. I did love a Sunday booze up though. Although the Mondays wake up used to be hell. I did find myself getting hooked on Baileys mixed with Brandy over xmas. That was a nice bedtime tipple.
Why am i stupid? Because i called you stupid? You're like a bad smell , stinking this forum out. Why dont you get in the bin before Clive has to lock this thread too. How did you get on a West Ham, did you managed to get tickets... ? LOL You're basically a parody of yourself these days.
You are the biggest time waster here, never mind our goalkeeper.
On the re watching old classics theme, i re watched The Terminator for the first time in years last night. It still holds up, a really good film, simple premise and just gets on with it. T2 tonight i think.
One Battle After Another is probably the best film of 2025 for me. Watched it over the weekend and really enjoyed it. A future classic possibly. Almost like a Coens film in terms of the quirky comedy but grittier, more wallop. Sean Penn was great in this, not quite Don Logan, but not far. Leonardo de Caprio is top drawer too. I could easily watch this again. 4.5 stars.
He's a young player, needs games. Took his goals well, so obviously has ability. He was poor today before he got his first goal. His confidence grew after that. I hope he steps up, and maybe Burrells injury gives him the opportunity he needs.
Stranger Things 5. Watch the first 4 series. Then just make up your own ending. It will be ten times better than what the Duffer brothers came up with for series 5.
Recently watched Sinners and 28 years Later. Both with a bizarre role for Jack O'Donnell.
Sinners was an odd vampire film. A musical, action, period, horror, gangster film. A kinda mash up of Dusk till Dawn, 30 days days of night (nowhere near as good as both) and Crossroads (not that one) . Literal all singing and dancing vampires in Southern Texas cotton picking fields. The story about Sammy " Preacher boy" Moore and his journey to becoming a Blues guitarist legend doesn't really feel is being told and its more about the Smoke and Stack gangsta twins, but it all gets derailed by the blood Suckers anyway!. Half decent B Movie fodder. 3 stars. 28 Years Later, had a more serious tone, genuinely creepy, Wicker man vibes, although the zombie with a 9" penis was hilarious. A good third act to the ongoing 28 Days story. The ending was a bit jarring though and completely changed the tone and direction . Risky move by Danny Boyle but its an interesting one. 3.5 stars. Also re watched the original Avatar's preparing for the third instalment. The first is a great film but i don't hold out much hope for part 3. Also watched part 2 and its pretty dire.
Yes its well and truly legal. Flex 101.4 obtained an FM licence a few years ago. Its now what's called community radio. It promotes creative arts in the area of South London. Most Pirate stations have gone legal tbh. Ive just joined Kane 103.7 FM and like Flex is now a community radio station, giving something back to the area. Bit of a far cry from scaling tower blocks and dodging the DTI We're all responsible adults now... . Well, kinda..
