I did see a photo of Dembele on "the grass" a couple of weeks ago somewhere which gave the impression it was at the training ground, and he was back on it at least. Where I saw that I don't remember and for all I know it was taken last year! |

Nah, we have great quality in midfield and at the back if we don't get too many injuries, and plenty of half decent wide players, plus a good ball playing Keeper. What we lack are players to put it in the net, 33 shots on Saturday but just 7 on target. We're creating openings, but not converting enough. Kone is nowhere near where he was last season, With defences tending to lie deep, Burrell is not finding the space he did last season and seems to have lost that extreme turbo boost of pace to rob defenders as last season, or doesn't trust his hamstrings. Further when he gets a chance he's not taking many, too much straight at the Keeper, or wide. Lloyd willing but no goals as yet, Obikwu, only seen 10 minutes this season, and Kolli not even that. We need a competent striker or two which aren't so easy to find. |

Mainly it confirmed for me that we need a competent new striker. Whether we can acquire one even in January must be very doubtful. |

During the game QPR+ showed many replays of the incident showing Cirkin taking the ball first and AFTERWARDS the PNE man arriving very late and falling on Cirkin lieing on the ground stationary with his foot up after he had cleared the ball. Clearly any foul there was from the PNE player. But I have not seen these replays since the game which is perhaps why some of you are seeing it differently. We should certainly appeal that with the replays shown on QPR+. |

Yes, I thought Madsen was very good the whole game too, kept us ticking over through midfield and did some great work defensively. But my MoM has to be Smithie for nailing the point. |

This.It was terrible decision that probably cost us 2 points and mean we are likely to lose Cirkin for 3 games. The inexperienced Ref looked a way off the situation and to be ruled by the Preston players. We really should appeal that, it wasn't even yellow. |

I don't think he replaced Vale's postion with Madsen, he moved Kamara forward of both Madsen and Varane. It didn't work, Kamara had his worst half of football since he joined us, and Varane was subbed off when Stefan brought Adamson on and changed our shape to the midfield diamond. Madsen was very good throughout and Kamara much better 2nd half. |

We still have flair players even if they are a way off Eze - Madsen, Chair, Saito, Poku, Dembele, Kamara, Edwards, JCS. Willock when he was with us.The best part of their games isn't based on their physicality or pace but their technical ability. |

I thought Dunne had got a bang on his leg when he was up for a corner near the end of the 1st half. Tried to run it off 2nd but it was too bad. Hope it was just a bad knock and he's back soon. We don't have adequate huge CB cover for him for when we face teams that will sling high crosses in at every opportunity. |
