Swansea have average players in big money. Fulton needs to be replaced by a lower wage player. Key, Ollie Cooper, Cullen will not get better. They will keep ScFc in th Championship though..Santos looks done.. French guy. Is now behind Kyril Wilson in terms of performance. Key can be sold and replaced by Lissah or moved f is there forward.. |

Al Hamadi and Kyle Joseph went for million pound + transfers.. Lissah, Wilson Cotterill Congreve Lloyd and Josh Thomas are getting game time at seniors level and need to be in the first team squad if good enough next season. Evan Watts GK and Glory Nzingo who knows? |

The USA public given up on Trump. British people should not take crepe off ANY ONE. He will be gone sooner than people think. UK got Brexit to be free to do our own thing. Give Trump and Vance a dressing down. That is what they expect of us. The public will just gave to accept the consequences of UK being leaders not followers. UK future US partners are currently prisoners of MAGA. Make a stand and get the benefits down the line. The "poodle" needs to show it's teeth. [Post edited 20 Jan 14:42]

It sounds as it they did ths right thing but did not have the paperwork in n place. Middle eastern politics is a violent band dirty business and this is reflected in their issue going through this long process. He needed to get I his best brains in this as he is not dealing with Welsh people or Scots but much more important people from the middle east. Villa won no disturbances no violence no hospitalisations probably few if any arrests. It was a real bad night for middle east hot heads and UK based agitators who were up for a dust up.vThe copper made a good judgement call but could not justify it to the sharp suited lawyers. Hindsight does not count. [Post edited 19 Jan 20:13]

He went to Rize on the Black Sea but would not come to Swansea. The guy sound confused. Very few UK players settle in Turkiye as they are not prepared to tough it out and assimilate. It suggests a weak character. Going for home comforts at 21 is not a good sign. Where is Glory Zningo probably having an off season. |

He did a good job. No arrests no one in hospital. It is possible that had the game gone ahead things would have been worse than Amsterdam where there were multiple injuries.. HM Government took no responsibility for Hillsborough 1988. The top Police guy Duckenfield did. How many stadiums had no Safety Certificates back in the 1960 -1980s. I doubt the Vetch had one with corroded steel and loose brickwork. Had Duckenfield banned that fateful game he also would have been interogated and stitched up by MP a maybe. MP committees stitched up David Kelly remember and he was right as well . [Post edited 17 Jan 13:35]

No doubt he went to Turkiye and forgot I his fishing rod and got homesick. It happened to Jonjo Shelvey in his thirties. I do not know why they bother sending these raw kids out there from the city to the tea growing centre. It could not be anymore different than Southwark. Homesick people want to go home. Expect a London club. |

The Isreali are masters of lobbying and feed spin to willing media outlets. The headline that Ai was used is a beautiful example of their work. The headline sows the seed of British self hate. Birmingham police is run by apparent 12 year olds is the narrative . Isreali lobby groups have implanted the narrative that Isrealis are always the victim and never the perpetrator of violence. Any one who contests this narrative can be labelled. " anti semantic". Macabi Tel Aviv fans went to Amsterdam and triggered a riot by provoking the locals with deeply offensive chants. Dozens were hospitalised and numerous arrests. After that another Macabi Tel Aviv game was abandoned in Isreal. There were a lot of red flags here. The appalling events in Gaza, the Macabi fans with a reputation for violence and provocation a Muslim populace in Birmingham. The Brum Police had to tread carefully but made the mistake of blaming the Isreali fans. London lawyers did not accept Isrealis painted as perpetrators violence. Isrealis have over the decades presented them as victims. The Birmingham police did not follow the script and the Police top man has to go. I back him. [Post edited 15 Jan 15:50]

UK people have to be careful. There are laws in the UK based on some questionable classification. of anti semitism. It was wriit n by Jewish UK bodies. This is an advisory document by in UK law. It seems to me to be way too broad a definition. The aim is to get citizen walking on eggshells and reading up on appropriate correct words. It f you are Welsh of course anything goes for some weaklings on here. |

The football team is from Isreal. The travelling fans were Isreali. The defenders of the Isreali fans and criticizing the British Police seem to be British Jews or people who support Isreal. I support the UK Police who are ultimately responsible for protecting the public irrespective class colour or faith. I am personally atheist. |

When I was younger I would frequent city centres in weekend. Not sure what it is like these days but at one time local tent services were available in the city centre to deal with the incapable and those involved on scraps including cut and bruises. Such services would be paid for by the local histories and clubs saving the NHS from dealing bashed up drunks. |

The Police should not bow to Jewish pressure either..They should listen to both Muslim and Jewish groups in the city. UK does not need violence Middle easterners taking our their difference on British streets.Maccabi Tel Aviv have already had one match abandoned relatively recently. It was noted they went out of their way to provoke local fans in Amsterdam with deeply offensive politicised chanting. I back the Birmingham police defending local people and services namely the police themselves the taxpayer and NHS. One lady stood at the Stadium with a Isreali flag making a political point without incident. |

I am not contained by prejudice and look at every issue individually.. I am not sure what the other issue you referenced was. I have no fixed view on the MSM. I love and hate the BBC at the same time. Macabi coming to Birmingham raise several red flags. I accept the Police's decision which will have spared the over stretched hospitals and reduced policing requirement saving money for the taxpayers. There will have been some loss of trade perhaps. Overall the banning was a win win. The fuss made by London agencies is irrelevant. It was a Birmingham decision. The Brum Police were forced to justify their decision in London before Lawyers. Why did they have to? [Post edited 10 Jan 17:22]

( from wiki)" On 6, 7 and 8 November 2024, before and after a UEFA Europa League football match in Amsterdam between Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv F.C. and Dutch club AFC Ajax, tensions over the Gaza war escalated to violence. Targets of the violence included Israeli Maccabi Tel Aviv fans, and pro-Palestinian protesters.Seven people, including five Israelis, were sent to hospital and 20–30 people sustained light injuries. Several local individuals who attacked Maccabi fans were given jail terms by Amsterdam district court" . In Birmingham no one was hurt and there was no violence. Job done. In my mind there was a good chance that middle eastern tensions could have arisen in Birmingham. It is not for the Police to worry about Middle eastern politics or take sides. They are. not taking their issues out in UK.. The friends of the various middle eastern groups have certainly kicked up a fuss. Good for them. I back the police The ghosts of Hillsborough rightly influence Police thinking . Where there are red flags the Police cannot bush them under the carpet. |

Four of the five on loan in EFL were at least playing every week. Cotterill can go somewhere else and develop. The guys in Scotland seem popular . Lissah had a MOM v Aberdeen scoring and defending robustly on Saturday . I watched a YouTube clup and he was everywhere. Wilson also showed up well. Ben Lloyd seems to come off the bench for Newport. One might have expected more from him but hopefully he will deliver in the second half of the season. The two prospects up from the u18 Brogam Popham and He arland Perry are with Cardiff Met in the LoW . Josh Thomas is in the RoI and nay stay on for their summer season. Not much news from him. |

He is a solid performer at Championship level. A splendid fellow too boot and reportedly a popular o member of the squad. He however represents the decline of Swansea way. He does not have the fast feet required for the type of football Swansea fans had 12 years ago. I feel sure Michael Laudrup or Martinez would have moved him on very quickly. He will help keep Swansea in the Championship if that is the target. On over £500k a year he will be moved on. A great servant to the club having said all that .I respect him. |
