Gone to Bradford. Should have been McCarthy. |

Saints are making no impression but absolutely nothing from RH. Probably waiting until they score again. |

Alastair Case, earlier this season: 'Hassenhutl is a Jekyll & Hyde character: he can be a good coach with a vision for how he wants to play, who sets his team up to be hard to play against (as characterised by strong first half showings). On the other hand, he's often an inept, naive and stubborn manager, who fails to counter changes made by opposing numbers and leaves substitutions painfully late. He has developed no fall back plan for games where leads need preserving, instead showing a blind faith to his favoured tactics of high pressing and playing out from the back. He needs a better assistant manager, a Rohl-esque sidekick who will advise him of the follies of his decisions and advocate pragmatism.' |

Not keen on Spurs, but nice to see Newcastle getting a thrashing, don't like their owners or the cocky little prick Eddie Howe. |

New season. Same old boring procession and talking bollocks about tyres. |

FFS stop passing it back to McCarthy |

And Djenepo blazes it over the bar....is he a footballer or a fookin comedy act? |

Just seeing in the 'media' that Saints have agreed a fee with Blackburn for Adam Armstrong. |

Just found ourselves sitting next to Sammy Lee and his wife in St Petroc's Bistro in Padstow. What a lovely bloke, said he enjoyed his time at Saints, but cringed a bit at the 9-0 defeats! |

With that look of 'thank f*ck for that' on his face. Bye Danny. Straight after that, they concede another pathetic goal. Sad to watch... |

McCarthy makes a complete mess of it and Salisu saves the day. Salisu looking better every game he plays. |

Nice to see him fail to prevent City's goal on the line today. |
 | Forum Thread | Sky Sports: Hate Won't Stop Us at 16:47 9 Feb 2021
Sky Sports: 'Sky Sports is committed to making Sky Sports.com and our channels on social media a place for comment and debate that is free of abuse, hate and profanity'. Why then do you still employ someone joyfully addressed as 'Carra' in a leading role who is guilty of all three against a young girl, with a large mouthful of spit thrown just to round off an act of hate which no doubt included good dose of profanity? Absolute hypocrisy and an insult to most football fans who do not indulge in any of the above. |
 | Forum Thread | Ralph's Comment at 10:48 8 Feb 2021
'When you defend like this, it's not possible to win Premiership games'. Well, it's certainly not your fault when the club has not invested in a couple of good defenders, apart from the unicorn that is Salisu, but it's the seriously ponderous build play from the back that is not helping a lot. It should not be happening when you're chasing a game at 3-2 down, opposing teams are watching for it ( McCarthy passes to Bertrand etc). If you have a suspect defence, get the ball further up the pitch, pissing about at the back is asking for trouble. And on the subject of defenders, I've seen several lower league defenders on TV games in the last week who looked far superior to the likes of Stephens, and who were also showing 100% commitment unlike the sulky Bertrand.A contract is a contract, Bertrand just appears to be going through the motions and because of that gifts the opposition an embarrassing goal. |

Watkins gets a shot in through his legs, then he stands there like a tit in trance while Barkley scores. Meanwhile Spit Boy and Roy Keane agree it's definitely a penalty up the other end. And Ings looks pissed off.... |

Constantly whingeing about how cold it is in their studio, about time he was pensioned off, then. W*nker |
 | Forum Thread | Salisu at 10:32 6 Jan 2021
He's suffered an injury during training, according to the Echo. Beginning to wonder if he'll ever play for the first team. Let's hope Stephens or Bednarek don't suffer an injury with Vestergaard out for a month. Calum Chambers was mentioned here by Nick, but judging by the way he couldn't wait to get out of here when he was 19, he might (unlike Theo) just go through the motions if he he came back and not show any real commitment. We do have defenders out on loan. |
