...I have been doing some thinking. Perhaps we need to simply accept that we are not typical football fans, and as such a mainstream football forum is not the place for us. I suspect that part of the problem is that the long term is that us old skool users are a bit cliquey and if you lack the social skills to assimilate you feel a bit slighted. So perhaps we should just embrace this? If the new board has a function whereby we can create a seperate forum upon which we can indulge our various obsessions beyond SFC, talk about what we're having for lunch and generally steer clear of the bovine public, we should use it. Invitation only. We can still use the main board to discuss Saints-related stuff. Perhaps there should also be a seperate, subsidiary board for right wing politics and conspiracy theories? And another for made up SFC nonsense. |
