What's the deal with Morrison? He's been back on the bench for about six weeks now but never available to start. Another player with a fitness record that is just not good enough. Shame as I thought he looked decent earlier in the season. Can't go into next season needing to rely on him and JCS for anything more than 20 games. Recruitment this summer going to be very difficult as there are gaps all over the place. |

We also thought Fox had a very good game. He's done alright when called upon and I would not be too disappointed to see him offered another year. Seems a good pro. |

Frey was fine. Ran hard all game and bashed their CBs about a fair bit. It's not like we had any better options off the bench. Anderson looked up for it today as well. |

Mood amongst those at the ground seems more upbeat than those watching online. I thought it was definitely a point well won. Don't think there's a single player in our starting 11 that gets in the Leeds team. Real determination shown to hold on and even caused them problems right until the end. Most importantly, we stopped the losing run. |

I was in Leeds last week and went to the Leeds West Brom game. John Swift was rubbish, baggies fans had little patience for him. He does love playing against us though. The one most likely to cause us trouble is Mikey Johnson. Fantastic player who looks capable of the step up to premier league. They're solid in defence too. I'd take a 1-1 if offered. |

Drove down to the Dordogne last summer. Absolute pleasure. Tolls not too expensive considering you get to drive on some excellent motorways. Roads so much better than ours. When you come back and get on the motorway at Ashford you really see how awful our motorways are by comparison. |

One extra player to run around and smash into people could make a reasonable difference against a team like Portsmouth. We don't necessarily need it every game but we have to accept that sometimes it's necessary. |

Horses for courses. We knew exactly what Portsmouth were going to do to us and rather than put another strong running, tackling CM in the team we stuck with the three little guys behind Frey. It's a bit of a blind spot for Marti. He really wants to win the 'right way' but that's no good if you're just going to get bullied. Games against the Millwalls and Portsmouths of this league, especially away from home should be approached with caution and the best possible side to go toe the toe with them physically. With a run of difficult games coming up, we could do a lot worse than revert to the 3 running and tackling CMs that helped to get us out of the mess we created for ourselves in the first place. |
