Just take it a game at a time. Matos has picked teams and chosen tactics for the next match and he's done very well. Southampton was the error but I'm sure he learned from that.
Put simply, I am only worrying about West Ham on Saturday, I'll worry about the other teams when we meet them. |

A "wholly political career" is the root cause of the problem. These people are usually better off themselves too.
When people talk about the Boomer generation pulling up the drawbridge, they aim at the wrong people. Those truly pulling up that hypothetical drawbridge are the rich and powerful, politicians and their friends.
Apparently around 9.1 million in the Uk are economically inactive whilst 34.5 million are working, Then the really barmy figures, the number of people who receive benefits of any kind, according to AI,
• State Pension Age: 13.4 million people (including those receiving the State Pension)
• Working Age: 10.0 million people
• Under 16: 860,000 children (receiving Disability Living Allowance)

• State Pension: 13.2 million claimants
• Universal Credit: 8.3 million claimants

8.3 million working people get universal credit. That is a massive subsidy to corporations, even those making record profits. That's where they need to look, raise the minimum wage for companies over a certain size, make corporations pay more in wages. If they leave the Uk it's an opportunity for someone else (or many others) to start up their own business. |

My opinion, we're had pressed to find any politician who isn't there to do someone else's bidding.
Most of these "elected representatives" are bought and paid for. If not when they are standing for election certainly soon after.
I wonder how many of our so called great and good have shares in petrol companies?
Burnham pfaffing about with google maps is utterly nonsensical when he has the power to do something about fuel prices immediately by reducing fuel duty and/or VAT. Maybe he should try being honest and say he doesn't want to help because the government is raking in the tax revenue. |

I kind of agree but there's a whole lot more to it. We see clubs chasing the Premier league dream and we know how our own wage bill shot up trying to avoid relegation.
Then it's something else that's been said about Manchester City, all their spending inflated the market so transfer fees rose, wages rose. No player should be on 500k per week, it's absurd. Even today with so many clubs in tonnes of debt some supporters defend the wages.
The fit and proper test has failed, the FFP/PSR rregulations didn't go far enough quick enough and now football could be on the verge of a catastrophic collapse.
Also in the news, the football regulator has said he'll quit if Burnham doesn't butt out. He doesn't want political interference and rightly so. |

Burnham says so and we should accept it, well I don't. Even if he produces proof I'll be cynically asking, who invented this?
All this yalk of intervention from forign actors, if the government had told us the truth in the first place we would never even have joined the EU because they KNEW, they knew political integration was part of the plan. They also knew the British people back then would never have gone for it. All those people who had fought in WW2, who had risked literally everything to keep this country sovereign would never have agreed to the EU.
Now we have young people screaming us older ones have screwed them while at the same time saying they wouldn't fight for this country if there was a war. They want all the good stuff without any of the effort and can't even see how ruined the country is.
Shall I liken it to those countries from where people flee to come here. One day soon people may be fleeing Europe if things aren't sorted out.
Russia is pushing hard, the USA is being crazy, the middle east is a tinderbox again. Where will people run to? |

We'll have peaks and troughs but the best teams don't just win when they're playing well, they a;so grind results out when they're poor. We've done that a few times so it is encouraging. It'd be great if we hit a peak the next 2 weeks and won all 3!
But, as I just said elsewhere, it might be better to just take it one game at a time. |

I think we expect it based on past experience. It might be best to take it one game at a time and not worry past there,
I mean, do we expect to win at Millwall, to beat Wets Ham down here? So just don't worry about it and take Tuesday as it comes. The team will give it 100%, Matos will do his best. And then, even if we lose we just move onto the next game. We're not unbeatable, there will be surpise wins and defeats along the way. Just enjoy the ride. |

My son loves his vintage shirts. He bought a 26 year old black Swans shirt, travel house the sponsor. He also has a Vintage Roma shirt ( we've been closet Roma fans since our 2 trips to Italy and we're going back in November to watch Roma again) and neither of those shirts were cheap but the quality is better than modern shirts. |

It has to be mixed because capitalism doesn't work for the masses either, it just takes longer to become apparent, we are seeing it today.
Democratic socialism is working in Nordic countries though. That's what we should be doing. |

Yes we were second best in the first half.Yes we gave up too may chances. Even so we battled on for a win. In the previous 5 years we were losing these kinds of games. We all know we can play better but the result is everything right now and we won. We hav a big 2 weeks coming, Millwall away, WHU home and then QPR away. better to go into that with a hard fought win that we were maybe lucky with, than a loss. |
