A Rough Guide To Arsenal
at 11:34:40

If you drive towards London on the M3 it becomes the A316 which takes you directly to Richmond. On the RHS is a large’Old Deer Park’ car park which is large, rarely full and 10 minute walk to Richmond Station. Almost adjacent to the station is an NCP which is probably more expensive and more likely that there will be a wait to get in but very convenient . Richmond has plenty of pubs near the station and plenty of restaurants.

Option 1 will probably require abandonment of the FA Cup. I feel fine about this and would feel the same even if we were still in the competition.

What Was Your First Ever Saints Game ?
at 07:07:04

Mine also a 1-1 draw with City at The Dell for the first game of the 1970-71 season. I was 10 and was taken to the game by my elder brother from home in Worthy Down near WInchester.

Colin Bell put City in front before half time and Ron Davies equalised with a header in the second half. City's Mike Summerbee got sent off late in the game.

Mourinho Looking For Leg To Stand On After FA Charge
at 12:08:22

Mourinho described it as a scandal when Fabregas was denied a penalty at St Mary's last season but in refusing to discuss Saint's 2 clear penalty appeals on Saturday he erodes his integrity. He's done himself no favours in his post match comments about refereeing standards but the FA will probably do no more than banish him to the stands for a few games and dish out what will be for him a small fine.

The appalling treatment of Eva Carneiro shames him further and if he disgraces himself again then the reputational damage to Chelsea will surely mean that Abramovich will lose patience with the man.

£50 Up For Grabs For The Best New Saints Song
at 18:49:04

I still stand by my proposal earlier in the year along the same lines.....

"The Bells of St. Mary's" is a 1917 popular song. The music was written by A. Emmett Adams, the lyrics[1] by Douglas Furber, following a visit to St. Mary's Church, Southampton, England.[2]

There could hardly be anything more appropriate?

It would have to be much faster than Bing's rendition below and I suggest the following lyrics:

The Saints of St Marys
We always will love you
With your inspiration
We never will fail
Saints fans will forever march with you together
So proudly sing out, loudly sing out

New Original Saints Songs Wanted !!

There may be scope with this one but we'd need to sing it faster than Bing Crosby

How about:
The Saints of St Marys
We always will love you
With your inspiration
We never will fail
Saints fans will forever march with you together
So proudly sing out, proudly sing out

Good call by ExiledSupporter for Guly to score. Like many I've been appalled at his treatment at home games so was delighted to join the positive chanting for him at Peterborough.

Saints V Birmingham 1974 Style
at 11:03:46

I remember this well and the dreadful sinking feeling when the teleprinter confirmed the worst. This game remains with me as a memory more devastating even than FA Cup semi-final defeats and more recent relegation battles. At least the 3-0 win at Goodison Park on the final day of the season provided some opportunity for optimism.
