Clive, that is just superb, literally moved me to tears!
Thanks for all you have done on here in this and previous seasons, you have no idea how essential your previews, reviews and reports are to us Hoops scattered around the globe and how it all brings us a little closer to the place I miss more than any other in England.
As Holiett made that challenge, as I and one other Ranger sat in a darkened bar after all others were kicked out by the army, he said under his breath "if there's a God let it be now"..........the next thing that happened suddenly seemed to make everything worth it (but I'm still an atheist!).

Lol! The only reason I was really aware of this is that I had two outright results right on a three game accumulator last week and the other I had as 3-1 City coz I was aware the always concede! Grrr! |

I remember Wigan murdered us in that game and we stole it at the end, said to my mate if we played like that again we'd get stuffed by someone and the next weekend Leeds put 6 past us!!
I remember them having two sent off (including Southall) in a game I was at in the early 90's and I'm pretty sure Sinton got a hatrick that day? |

Lost my Dad almost 4 years ago and I'm not ashamed to say this piece moved me to tears (which is only rather embarrassing as I'm sitting on a bus in Bangkok!). An absolutely fantastic piece of writing, may your Dad rest in peace. The thing I've found is I never stop thinking about the old man but the more time passes, the more I smile rather than cry when those thoughts come to me. Anyway, like I say, fantastic piece, thanks! |

"Chelsea wait on results from Spurs at home to Blackburn and Newcastle at Wigan – for once QPR and Chelsea fans will be united in their hopes for those games."....erm, surely the scum fans want exactly the opposite results from those games than we do?!
