I reckon Man Ure must hold the record, they’ve paid at Wembley in at least 7 different competitions….. The FA Cup League Cup Community Shield European Cup 1968 Champions League 2011 Charity Shield (I know) Premiership (when Spurts used it as their home ground). 2017-2018 |

....unless it's to beat Birmingham City in the EFL Trophy final. |

That is quite remarkable, especially that only 4 of us have never played at the new Wembley (thank you Google!). When you think it was almost a regular day out for us in the 90's. |

From the BBC – ‘Their semi-final humbling means MK Dons have now competed in the play-offs six times without reaching a final’……… KARMA noun: The sum of a person's actions in this and previous states of existence, viewed as deciding their fate in future existences. |

For purely selfish reasons I’m happy about that result. Donny’s new ground is on my ‘to do’ list, so hopefully if the dates are kind, I’ll be able to tick that one off. I loved Belle Vue, because it was off the scale of shite and made Layer Rd look like the Emirates. As if it wasn’t naff enough, the last time I was there, an evening game, local boy Tony Christie was there singing his shit, sorry hit, ‘Show me the way to Amarillo’. As far as entertainment goes, it was the pits. I think it was a Friday night and I don’t think we did well. Hopefully the game tonight will be good for Crawley, because if I’m ever going to finish the 92 (unlikely as it's taken me over 50 years to do 70 odd) , one day I will reluctantly have to visit the home of the MK Stealers. |

Yes, but overheard saying ‘let me get right to the point’ ….. we should be aiming higher than for draws if we want top 7. |

Like it! As they say in the world of finance "Past performance is no guarantee of future results" Last Season, Boreham Wood narrowly lost out on a place in the league, losing to Notts County in the play-offs, this year they were relegated by just one point. |

I think popular thinking goes something along the lines of…. Wimbledon had certainly hit the buffers, but if football wasn’t sustainable in SW17, then they should have died like all the others on long list of clubs that have disappeared, many to re-emerge as a Pheonix club (like AFC Wimbledon). Their grave should not have been robbed for the bones, so that the people of MK, (would couldn’t be arsed to form their own club and start at the bottom like everyone else), could just jump straight into a league position. If that wasn't bad enough, some non-league club that had worked hard to make it to the Conference were cheated out off a league place to replace the original Dons. If that situation is acceptable and goes unchallenged, then there are no limits to the shithousery that would follow. It can't be mentioned in the same breath as slavery, the holocaust etc but like all things that are very wrong, we should never stop calling it out, to make sure that it never happens again. God forbid if the U's went into administration and were stolen by another City the best part of 100 miles away. I would much rather it just ended. I agree about Prem clubs, foreign owned, foreign managers, foreign players, mostly for foreign TV. I’d be happy for the whole lot to leave us, to play in a World Series pantomime. So, have your opinions always been neutral on the subject? Whilst I agree 110%, in fairness to W@nkleman, he was only guilty of asking the question (and he has surely been punished enough, by being gifted a face like a bucket of smashed crabs). It’s the EFL that should be on their way to hell for allowing it to happen. [Post edited 8 May 8:34]

TFFT I was beginning to think we were getting a little light on backroom staff Pleased he’s not advising the U’s on fitness, I wouldn’t want to be behind him in a queue for a buffet. [Post edited 7 May 10:03]

I agree 6,000 should be possible with the Cowley factor and all that's gone on around Colchester. I think the BWA also deserve credit for their hard work. Sutton put up a good fight today and I feel a little sorry for them, but this aint ‘showfriends’. I hope they can come back to the EFL one day. What’s going on at Solihull Moors? They are on a roll and look a good bet for making the league. If Gateshead’s ground wasn’t OK for the EFL, how the heck can Solihull’s be OK? |

No drama in the League One drop zone , (despite Burton getting a stuffing), let’s hope it’s a good omen. Taylor fails to keep Lincoln in the play offs despite nearly 15 mins of added time!!! At the Community Stadium I can hear the drummer and the faithful in good voice! Allez les U’s |

Thanks for your concern and advice. iFollow is good for me as I'm abroad (sound and pictures), I understand that it's not working in the UK today because of Sky. Just to stress me out, when I bought my pass (11Euros) a few minutes ago, the payment wouldn't work and I have had to go through a webchat, but it's sorted and I'm tuned in already! The only problem I have now is there's a massive thunderstorm overhead and I could lose internet!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [Post edited 27 Apr 13:46]
