Saints Fans Should Focus On The Real Problem !
at 17:58 10 Oct 2018

Here is one core issue that's also at the heart of the problems. Buying players on the basis that they are being shop windowed for agents, who want to move to another higher club asap.

We have numerous players in the team that dont actually want to be here !

Saints Fans Should Focus On The Real Problem !
at 12:21 10 Oct 2018

Its 2018 not the 1990s and football has changed on a massive scale. Fans views are valid on the basis of whats been served up over recent seasons and the associated costs. Thousands of fans are now not going to games anymore. There's been colossal mismanagement at St Marys that has cost the club miliions. We might have to right off upwards of £40M yet again on useless players. You cant simply dismiss fans views as ' internet ranting' , i dont know any fan that's not saying the situation is a crisis from the office to the pub.

Mark Hughes has a handful of games tro save his job, thats a 'modern football' fact.

This was all a bit odd and you wonder if plod set the whole thing up. Plymouths firm was in cosham and was escorted, not to some away fan pub near the ground. But to guildhall square where the pompey firm was plotted up.

Saints Ticket Price Policy Failure Sees Thousands Of Empty Seats !
at 18:12 16 Sep 2018

General pricing on everything at SFC is around 10% higher than it should be from tickets to merchandise and food. My 'picking and choosing' games over recent seasons has dried up tenfold. I have followed the club for decades and pricing has got so crazy that its an instant turn off, alongside the dire football on show. You then add the tens of thousands of pounds wasted on folded bits of card and some dog bashing a drum, i lose all interest.

How many season ticket holders have the club last season ? its got to be a good 1500 if not more.

Time For Positivity In The Saints Supporter Base
at 16:36 22 Jun 2018

I would love to be postive about SFC but im afriad we're knee deep in trouble and as of yet nothing is happening to change that situation. Nobody has confidence in Ross wilson/Les Reed to get us back in line. Whilst its cheap to have a pop at the shambles around the kit, that sums up the mis-management from top to bottom for me. We stopped with pure luck thanks to swansea losing games, a massive financial meltdown with relegation. Everyone thinks Ralph Krueger is a clown and after his media comments this year, i now agree.

As for the ownership of the club, its a total farce and nobody has any confidence in Gao Jisheng. Kat was desperate to sell, but the club has been sold to the wrong person with no clue what hes doing. Remember the line from SFC 'The club will only be sold for its benefit' etc Japan would be a better place to park the commercial marketing boat. Whilst United, Liverpool etc take plenty of marketing there would be room for us esp with Yoshida around.

But lets be thankful due to 'Saints voice' we will soon have gender neutral bogs at St Marys

"Pellegrino’s Position Is Now Under Considerable Scrutiny "
at 21:02 17 Jan 2018

He should have been sacked following the Burnley home defeat early last November. I had seen enough by then to sugges,t that it was all going around in circles with no upturn. The football, ive seen this season has been the worst for over a decade at least. No blame can be attached to VVD for the woeful coaching on so many levels. If by some miracle we do stay up, he can no way stay next season !

Our new owner
at 20:58 17 Jan 2018

I think the club has been sold to someone out of desperation and very little thought to 'what happens next'. I fail to understand, why someone would spend £200 million and not have any representation on either of the boards. I hate to think the club was bought on the basis of achievements from players and managers, that have long gone. You could say the same management is in place because he has no idea what hes doing, doesnt speak the lingo and has no cultural understanding.

When you look at the saga of Gao's takoever, it really didnt bode well and i was amazed it actually happened. Premier League refusing the deal and then only allowing it on appeal. The fact the whole takeover has been played down on purpose. Even in China there was next to nothing said. In short, it stinks.

Puel/Koeman
at 17:38 4 Jan 2018

Koeman was offered a new contract but clearly thought he would wait until after the season and see what else came up. I think Koeman realised he had taken the club as far as he could with the resources. His CV was now looking alot better and so when Everton came calling he though there would be a chance to do the same with them and put himself in the frame for the barca job. His CV also shows how he one way or the other really only hangs around clubs for 2/3 seasons. He clearly couldnt stay at Saints and run down a contract as it would have been a non stop media circus.

Claude Puel in my eyes was sacked becuase a fair wack of the players didnt like him.

My theory is that the club bent over to those players and got rid of Puel to appease them. Now they brought in Pellegrino and things are not working, theyre clearly reluctant to act again. Alongside that they are working for a new owner and maybe dont want to lose face that they cant hire managers properly.

Both Lowe and Cortese would have long got rid of Pellegrino as its clearly not working.

Krueger was brought in by the previous owner, does he really have the heart now ?

Les Reed seemingly has run out of aces and whilst he clearly was a catalyst for double promotion and bringing in some good players. That should never give him a free card, which i think sadly we are seeing now.

I fail to understand why Gao spent £200Million and has none of his own staff on either of the boards, that is really dodgy ground.

Kelvin Davis appointed first team coach

A total joke !

Hes been involved in the first team since last July in some strange role that seemingly was based around looking after 1st team players and liaising with the club board.

Experience in coaching is zero

How Much of the Van Dick Cash will be Reinvested Sweep-stake?
at 18:26 27 Dec 2017

I suspect it will be £60 Million upfront and so thats got to buy a striker and a central defender minimum. Buying players in January isnt easy and clubs are very reluctant to let players go unless you throw big money towards them. I just hope deals have been done already whilst this sale was going on.

What a disgrace after all whats happened and he should have been sold in the last window. The boardroom is a total shambles and they still havent sacked pellegrino.

People harp on about his 'past record' does that include a League Cup final and finishing 8th.?

I find it strange he never went straight to Leicester as it seemed an obvious move with him from the midlands and being down here in a marchwood B/B on his own since 2016.

Maybe the club wanted a smooth rollover with new manager and coaches and gave him the option to stay until christmas.
