We all have our favourite players, and our least favourite too and I would get shot down in flames if i told you who my least favourite is. If I could be granted one wish (besides getting promoted) it would be that Bazunu doesn't get injured, he is now our key player in that his back-up is way below his standard. |

This shirt reminds me of the old soap powder adverts, this red half was washed in Dazzle, the faded pink side in another leading brand. On TV (on the rare occasions we will get chosen) the shirt looks half pink and half red, gets my vote for the worst Saints shirt ever and I wouldn't be seen dead in it. Glad I have last season's green shirt and the previous season's black shirt, they are my favourites. |

Don't you hate all these glory hunters who fill the stadium, where were they when Saints were languishing in League One? Soon it will be like Manchester United, having to ban season ticket holders who don't attend 10 home games. I mean, what's wrong with buying a season ticket at Old Trafford just to ensure you get to see the home game against Saints? United still get the money, don't they? I hate it when real fans like me who have supported the club through thick and thin since 1885 have to sit next to some prawn sandwich eater who doesn't even know the words to "If I had the wings of a sparrow". Look at Pompey, their average gate of 14,000 is only 3,000 below what they were getting when they were a force in the Premiership, I mean that's real fans. |

I am and have been throughout a Ralph supporter, I don't always agree with his team selections or tactics, but every manager we have had since Ted Bates has had his favourites which us fans can't figure out. This season our best centre back pairing was forced on Ralph when Stephens was injured. Our best midfield pairing was forced on Ralph by JWP getting himself suspended. Our best centre forward was playing thanks to Adams injury. I think Ralph's luck has changed for the better. |

Will Saints miss JWP? Like Schatfield I think he looks like he needs a break, maybe we rushed him back too soon after his pre-season injury. His free kicks and corners have not created a goal, he doesn't seem to be covering the ground he normally does, and his tackling is a little late. He is a great player for us, and I'm glad he decided to stay, but current form is poor. His absence will allow someone else to try the dead ball situations and make us less predictable. Hopefully Stuart Armstrong will be back against Leeds. Luckily JWP will only miss 2 league games because of the cup game, but because of the (boring) international break he will have time to get back to full fitness. |

According to the stream that I was watching, Mike Reid the video ref took the view that it was not a penalty but the ref should review it. It was the ref that made the decision to give the penalty, fair play to him for ignoring Mike "I hate Saints" Reid. |

Palace's goal started when Romeo made a suicide pass to Redmond. If Redmond had reacted quicker he may have got to the ball first. Bednarek had to go out wide to cover the man with the ball. This left Stephens with two men to mark, when he went for the central man the pass went to Zaha, if Stephens had marked Zaha the pass would have gone to the central striker and would still have been a goal.

Fraser Forster was a great keeper when he arrived, unfortunately our goalkeeping coach taught him to stay on his line and stop commanding the box, our goalkeeping coach taught him not to stand in the middle of the goal at free kicks to give the opposition a better chance to score. If he can unlearn the bad habits he was taught he can be a great keeper again.
