Yet Another Ex Player Close To Re-joining Southampton
at 21:12:15

No, no, no. How many more ex players are we trying to sign.
Haven't heard Ricky Lambert's name mentioned yet, there's still hope.
Saints Set To Bid £6 Million To Bring Back Former St Mary's Hero
at 09:21:46

No, no, no.
2 awful seasons, lost what little pace he & sharpness in the box. Wages would still be high. Spend 6M elsewhere. Only worthwhile if Downes could be signed on the back of the deal.
Southampton Linked To Reunion With Armando Broja
at 16:48:14

No no no. 20 mill for an injury prone non goal scorer makes absolutely no sense
Southampton At Leicester The Debacle
at 22:41:20

Utter disgrace. 66% possession, no shots on target & lose 5-0. Tippy tappy sideways backwards football may work against the lesser sides but as soon as we play someone half decent we get stuffed. Without Flynn we lose solidity in midfield & without Stu we lose any creativity. No point singling out individual players, they were all poor . Perhaps they realise that if we were to get promoted they wouldn't be in the 1st team. Can't see us beating WBA over 2 legs on current performances.
Southampton V Preston North End The Preview

I'm surprised RM hasn't played Jack as a striker
Southampton At Ipswich Town The Preview

Just seen teamsheets. Stephens playing instead of KWP. WTF IS RM PLAYING AT.
Danny Ings Doesn't Want To Drop To Championship Claim
at 21:42:24

Lets hope this rumour is correct. Let him struggle somewhere else.
Southampton Announce Signing Of Goalkeeper
at 19:53:17

Obviously our priority was to sign 2 second rate keepers when we have major shortfalls up front & central defence. Unbelievable.
Southampton V Fulham The Preview
at 20:24:25

Agree. After Forest game AMN shouldn't be anywhere near the first team. Bree could well be a steady player in Championship
Southampton V Bournemouth The Preview
at 19:28:09

Ely starts again wtf is he playing at
Saints Linked With Ex Bournemouth Winger
at 17:31:05

Would be another Theo, well past his best & no doubt on high wages. Definitely no.
Southampton At Crystal Palace The Verdict
at 13:47:34

Problem is JWP pure & simple. Everything has to go through him, he's too slow, never plays a forward or attacking pass. Corners come to nothing, no goals scored. Can't play him hoping for a free kick just outside the box .
Trouble is in Ralph's eyes he's undroppable, doesn't even get subbed. Everybody can see it bar Ralph - so so frustrating.
Southampton V Arsenal The Verdict
at 12:56:22

I agree with most of whats been said but felt we rode our luck & for once getting 50/50 decisions. It was great to see Lyanco & CC bully their opponents, more of the same.

Ely's last ditch tackle on Jesus seemed to give him an extra confidence boost as up to then he'd been struggling.

Whilst the fighting spirit was great there are still a lot of cracks to paper over:
1. Our creativity is poor. JWP just doesn't cut it, yes his workrate is great but ability to move the ball quickly is non existent almost waiting for the defence to be set up & surprise surprise the ball goes backwards.
2. Our aerial threat is zero. No goals from corners. So why oh why do we persist with long throws, we may as well just give the ball straight to the opposition.
3. AA for all his efforts & enthusiasm is too lightweight to play up front on his own.
4. What does Theo offer now?

Can't wait until some of the walking wounded return & hope Edozie gets more game time soon.
Southampton V West Ham United The FA Cup Preview
at 19:33:42

Could have been worse, Walcott could have started
Southampton At Norwich City The Verdict
at 00:34:25

Yes, the critics will be out for Walcott & rightly so. He is one of the highest earners at the club & most experienced. Yet we're still waiting for a half decent performance let alone a decent one. Where as Broja although not at his best has shown plenty of promise. The first half saw lots of crosses into the box with little aerial threat & yet when Broja comes on I can hardly think of a decent cross apart from Walcott's awful miss late on, say no more.
Southampton V Wolverhampton Wanderers The Verdict
at 10:12:15

Normal service resumed, slow, ponderous build up with next to no creativity or urgency.
Our midfield is nothing short of dire. Playing any 2 from Redmond, Djenepo, Elyounoussi or Walcott just doesn't work. Armstrong returning to full fitness can't come soon enough, but no doubt RH would prefer Redmond.
JWP is back to his old self with slow, safe passes allowing defences to get organised. Even his set pieces are now predictable with little or no threat.
Up front we are just too lightweight, Adams & Armstrong doesn't seem to be working as a partnership. As for bringing on Long with 15 minutes to go was just plain stupid. If that's the best that Ralph can do then it's time for a change.
On the plus side Livramento looks a real star & Salisu is improving with each game.
Unfortunately I really fear for this season as I'm struggling to see 3 teams worse than us.
Time For A Saints Win
at 13:15:56

Playing with 10 men again, Redmond starts yet again
Southampton V Wolverhampton Wanderers The Preview
at 18:04:25

I can't agree about Redmond. He's had so many opportunities but just doesn't consistently produce the goods.
How many dreadful performances do we have to suffer because of 2 passes in 1 game - remember what happened with him after Bournemouth in the cup last year, nothing. He's had so many chances, give some of the younger players like Tella an extended run. I'm fed up with a player whose inflated ego is so much bigger than his ability. How many clubs were interested in him in the transfer window - none. That says it all.
Southampton V Manchester United The Preview
at 12:27:08

No doubt he'll start Long & Obafemi up front.
I'm Sorry Ralph ! But You Got The Selection Wrong At Everton
at 13:53:35

How much longer do we have to put up with the same issues? Yet again we go in at halftime leading & within minutes of the restart the opposition have equalised. You just know another 2nd half loss will follow.
What on earth is being said in the dressing room at halftime?

Ralphs decisions are baffling at best, more likely incompetent & stupid.

McCarthy in goal, why.
We struggled at CB last season, so we sell one of our better ones, no replacement & start Stephens. Surprise surprise we concede 3 goals again.
Armstrong doesn't start or even used as a sub. But no Ralph prefers to use Redmond.

No subs used until 80 min & then 3 at once is utter madness.

Can only see another embarrassing defeat against Man U, even another 9-0.

I used to be very supportive of Ralph but enough is enough.
Time to get rid of him now before relegation is a certainty.
