Thought Tarbotton was MOTM, has both bite in the tackle and a range of passing in midfield. Charlie Street looked very tidy, rated him more than Akindileni but really only on the basis of this game. Brunson looked very exciting when he came on, very slight but defenders really struggled with him. Overall, they were clinical and had us with those early goals but we had a good second half and if one of those chances had gone in, I'd have loved to see how that had played out.
In Harry Howell and Freddie Simmonds, Brighton have 2 of the better prospects in the country at the age group (so say people I know and trust about these things), yet I thought their winger Silsby(?) looked excellent too. On the basis of the opposition, I think we can be pleased with the way we performed against a decent side |
