I had absolutely no issue with Cifuentes looking elsewhere and still think he was excellent for us and would get an applause for me. I also have no problem with the club looking beyond Paul Smyth, he's 28 so has no re-sell value and he is rather limited. It's fine to move on too.
Hmm, don't like that personally. He was terrible last season, barely looked like he was trying. If that is how he performs when he doesn't like the manager, that isn't a good sign for us or for future sales.
Or maybe I'm looking too much into it. Still out POTS so far for me anyway.
It won't happen but there is something kind of sad that if we did go up, we would have to replace our entire squad. No exceptions, the lot of them would need to be replaced for us to have any chance up there. Not something unique to us, tbe gap is too wide and whoever goes up will have to replace the lot. But that is sad. I miss plucky championship sides getting up and having a go.
