A bit ridiculous to say the manager had a game plan. If that was his game plan he wouldn’t have played 2 up top. With all their pressure one error, unlucky bounce and we concede. Then the perspective might be clearer. |

Thanks Clive for talking about the lack of football and the nonsense we dished up that causes a melt down when a visiting team does it to us. Reminds me of early 2000 away games under Holloway. A tough watch. I wonder if some fans are just happy not to feel like shyte on the way home for a change then after the usual not turn up again loss. Our front four at Stoke could have been a handful if utilized properly. For what it’s worth when I watch Rangers especially away i can’t see much coaching, a system or a game plan. Maybe that’s why we see so many driftless games especially in first halves at away games accompanied by so many changes of personal or not. How many subs does he put on in the 2nd half when it’s gone to crap. Maybe Is he just a good man manager. He’s losing me. [Post edited 19 Jan 1:23]

I was on the Pitch at the Man City game and some supporters, all true, were shouting to get off the pitch, maybe they just wanted to watch a 0-0 and be grateful for a point. |

I no way agree with Mr Elbow, I’m not a fan, and his thin skinned personal attacks on all replies however yesterdays game and antics was embarrassing. Think back to the Norwich game and how that affected a lot of regulars on here. Real questions from real long term fans that might have forced the hand to play a decent team at WHam. The only argument I’m hearing is we got a point. Dunne played well because he’s a professional footballer and gives a fcuk. If you played 5-10 games like that away from home percentage wise how many points are we going to pick up. I get TDK1,s take thing is away from home we just drift through games and don’t lay a finger on the opposition. Clive and the BBC player ratings bear this out. This happens most away games and players like Varane become anonymous. Did we play this match different yesterday. Sat back due to pressure, no out ball thinking got to HT thought they havent scored let’s run it out. It’s a not a team out there with any plan for us just see what the other team do and REACT. As for the reaction to Elbows research about stoke fans perspective. Preston do this shyte to us and everyone has a melt down. Everyone’s choosing their battles and Elbow has a good point. Does he help himself, enjoy prodding the bear, quick to get on here when things aren’t that great, a twit yes. However it’s all a bit hypocritical inmo after that game yesterday. Ps we didn’t put 2/3 passes together yesterday. No one ever mentions the ball when we’re all talking about FOOTBALL. The play and practice with the fing thing everyday. [Post edited 18 Jan 19:27]

How about giving us something to get excited about or at least get the blood flowing. We never have the ball, want the ball, keep the ball or do anything with the ball creatively especially away. [Post edited 18 Jan 3:23]

Gritty 0-0 draw. More like Stokes ineptitude and the ball bouncing our way for once when in the penalty area. It’s not attainable to be set up like this every away game. |

It’s not going to happen very often that a team has that much possession and touches in the penalty area and don’t score. It’s not an attainable way to play. If they had scored all this worked hard for a point is irrelevant and a melt down on here. We have to have some sort of thinking on how we score especially from open play. What’s relevant is that performance and the philosophy attached to it ain’t no long term solution. These away games all look the same just today they didn’t score. Personally I think our front four today could have been a handful but they were never given the ball. |

First time for everything but i agree with the elbow. Result, result, injuries, stoke away, blah blah blah blah. Stoke being adjective helped No identity to this team/club just hang on hope they don’t score , ride your luck thinking. [Post edited 17 Jan 17:20]

Highlight so far a Yorkshire gold cup of tea with a sausage roll made by a local baker within walking distance. His wife is from NI, he knows what he’s doing. |

All this look on the bright side 0-0 shyte. 1 goal either way makes no difference. We need to be building a cohesive football team/squad and being a well run club that talented players want to join. [Post edited 17 Jan 16:04]

Why is a stoke representative allowed to walk off the pitch , getting in his ear, side by side off the pitch with the referee? |
