No mention of the Tory councillor who was an IRA member then?

Regarding Almeria - Almeria city is not that nice.
The best beaches in the Almeria area are in the Cabo de Gata natural park area which is a great place and unspoilt. San Jose is a nice town/resort in this area.

Alcudia town and port are both nice areas. The beach is beautiful but very long so depending on where you're staying you could be a long way from the port.
Pollenca port is really nice as well.
Try and get to Palma if you can.
There is a Mallorca Saints fan club as well!

And if you don't think the CIA is involved in assassinations you don't know anything.

Try googling Operation Phoenix.

If you want to make comparisons let's count up how many innocent people have been killed by the Putin administration compared to the USA and UK's war against Iraq, Afghanistan etc.

I don't think you will like the answer.

Putin is no worse than Bush, Blair, Cameron, Obama etc.
They all kill people when it suits them and are all liars.

Do you want to compare how many people the Cuban government has killed compared to the UK government since the Cuban revolution? Thought not.
And for what's it worth I don't support either.

Firstly the figure of 15,000 is debatable.

If you want to believe the very unreliable wikipedia then you'll know that no one knows what the true figure is. The right wing historian Hugh Thomas puts it at 5,000.

And who were these 5,000 or 15,000 ?

According to wikipedia, "The vast majority of those executed following the 1959 revolution were policemen, politicians and informers of the Batista regime accused of crimes such as torture and murder, and their public trials and executions had widespread popular support among the Cuban population. Scholars generally agree that those executed were probably guilty as accused"

So not exactly innocent people.

Would the Yanks have treated them any differently?

And anyway, your hero Thatcher had no problem befriending mass murdering dictators so why not condemn her!

And you're a right wing tw AT.

Even if those figures are true they are still small compared to the hundreds of thousands murdered by Nixon, Bush, Blair etc but that's ok because they were democratically elected.

Castro? He wasn't a mass murderer. He did some good things and some bad things. Yes he was a dictator but not half as bad as other dictators.
I spent a far amount of time travelling around Cuba and was surprised that people would openly criticise the regime so it's not the Stalinist hell hole some people would make out. And as far as I'm aware Cuba has never invaded other countries and murdered hundreds of thousands unlike Blair and Bush so a lot of the UK and US politicians should STFU and get their own house in order before critisizing others. The same politicians who have no problem kissing the arse of the Saudis for example.

Anyway,Raul Castro seems to be more sensible than Fidel but that imbecile Trump will probably set things back 20 years.

Most intelligent working class people hate the banks and tax dodging corporations who are the real villains not fellow workers like themselves.

You seem to have been conned by frauds like Farage and Boris Johnson into thinking that everything is the fault of a 'metropolitan elite' which is hilarious coming from these ex public schoolboy toffs pretending to be 'men of the people'.

Just about everyone who works with problem drug users, whether it is the police, social workers, prison officers etc will tell you that the drug laws as they stand do not work and decriminalisation is the way forward.

Drug addiction should be treated as a medial problem not a criminal problem like they do in Portugal where drug use and related crimes have been reduced massively.

Just because you may have taken some drugs does not make you some sort of expert on the matter.
