Danny Dyer Speaks Some Sense About Supporting A Club

I've supported saints for 35 years and anyone who says I am a glory hunter is having a laugh. I was brought up in London and my family wasn't a football family, so I never really had a team. I followed the teams where I lived . And then I moved to the New Forest and switched to Saints. Nothing different to what went before. After a few years I went to a charity cricket match and met MLT Le god and something happened. I can't explain the what or why but ever since that time I can't imagine supporting any other team. My weekends are defined by Saints; I can't escape the depression when we lose or the light feeling in my feet when we win.

I think it's unfair to judge people just because they weren't born in the right place. We all have our own reasons for supporting our team- some shallow, some deep in the gut. I know how I feel and I can't explain it.

Last 15 games- matched Leicester on points AND goal difference

The Times have printed the Championship record for the last 15 games. We have scored more goals (29) than everyone except Leicester (31). Leeds and Watford have scored 28 and Ipswich 23.

We are getting stronger and scoring more and more goals. Yes Norwich was disappointing, but let's give them credit for them defending well. Do we really need the fabled striker that is being called for. I think to get someone better than what we have would cost more than we've ever paid for anyone.
