Field is left footed. I like Morgan but would be a little worried playing him at CM today as Norwich like to attack through the middle and I think Morgan could be vulnerable. If we're chasing the game he'd be a good sub to come on after the hour. |

If Madsen is injured for today's game, I would like to see Field together with Hayden. That wouldn't be the most creative CM pairing but they'd be more reliable than Varane, who I've had enough of watching this season. |

That's great. I'm pleased he's staying. Of course, no hint whatsoever of the length of his contract. So bloody irritating. |

Thanks guys. It's heartwarming to read of my fellow Rs disgust at this corrupt and autocratic tradition. I absolutely concur. |

Thanks for that. We see things a little differently but fair enough. I guess we'll have to wait for the annual accounts to get an accurate picture of these things. |

How do you conclude that: "...the Eze money has been more than spent"? If you agree there was a transfer fund used for most of the summer signings before Eze's sell on money came in, I genuinely don't understand how you get to that conclusion. |
 | Forum Reply | January transfer rumours at 14:04 30 Dec 2025
Most of the summer signings were made before Eze was sold and QPR received the sell on cash. For example, Kone was signed 10 days before. The only substantial transfer post Eze's move was Saito at £2.8m. It would have been irresponsible in the extreme for the club to have spent money it didn't have, so there must have been a transfer fund available apart from the Eze windfall. |

Stephan got that game so wrong and most of the players followed suit. WBA weren't much better but we laid the win on a plate for them. All in all, a complete mess of a football match. |

I've not seen any real hype for the DS, except perhaps my own on the odd occasion! For me, it's the best collection of youngsters for a good while. While I don't think we get a steady stream of players for the first team coming through, I do think we'll get 2 or 3 over the next few years which is more than we have seen for a long time. |

CBs Akinidileni (18) is left footed, as is Noah McCann (20) who is currently on loan at Tonbridge. |

You can see Kolli in the pre Portmouth training gallery here: https://www.qpr.co.uk/news/202 I think his return date was given as 1st January. It would be good if that was the case given the run of 4 games in 10 days. |

Ditto FDC. Cook's form is tanking - is he losing interest a bit? And, let's face it, JCS could be out for months yet again. Morrison is fine but it does feel like we need strengthening in the CB area. I've have pretty high hopes for Smith and Akindileni but it's too soon for them to be relied upon for the rest of the season. I feel sure we have some of the Eze funds available but much will depend on the price Soton puts on Ronnie's head. |
