Me and 2 mates got tickets on that saturday morning from someone who was unable to go only prob was "they are at the frattion end !". right by the corner flag. kept quiet during the match obviously. the goal i will remember forever! craning my neck to try and see where Armstrongs cross was ending up.. and just spotting steve connecting with it.Things then went into SLO MO. Awful view with all the obstructions Saw the side netting ripple and put my hands over my head and sank to my knees ,whispering to myself That was close., thinking it was wide.... THEN DEATHLY SILENCE ALL AROUND ME ! followed by a roar about a second later. !!! the time it takes for noise to travel from one end of the ground to the other. Kept ever so quiet on the way back to the car , but very noisy once on the M27!
