i can understand your issues re this process.
It is a bit of a finger in the air job.
We are always optimistic that the new players brought in will deliver and we will avoid some of the dissapointments over the last few years.
If you don't like the product on offer simply don't buy it.
We are certainly in a much better position on and off the field than we were 12 months ago. |

He did the right thing coming to Dale so that he could display his obvious talents.

Just wondering if some sort of seeding system could be introduced ,,whee for the first 3 rounds the highest
ranked sides from the end of the previous season are allocated ties against the lowest ranked sides |

Hayes clearly will be back in the FL with some team prob not Fwood.

The goalie role has changed massively.
In the 70s and beyond it was the big hoof upfront and the big centre forward..Toshack..Jordan ,Latchford et al..would look to flick it on .
I think Schmeichel was one of the first keepers to throw the ball long distances to his front players.
Remember the furore when Pep decided to offload Joe Hart because his lack of skills with his feet..lo and behold the rest is history with the benefits Ederson brings.
Goalies in todays games are effectively sweepers |

well we will have to wait and see
Perhaps there will be a change in approach next season..perhaps a different style may work or it may see us getting drubbed every game..im more than pleased with what Jim has done this season i expected as mentioned a whole lot worse.
If people do become disenchanted with the team then they need to vote with their feet

for me Jim stays ..others think differently thats fine
I at this stage expect us to be in this league for several seasons.
Bigger better equipped sides than Dale such as County Wrexham and now Chesterfield are testament to what is needed to get out of this league..and at present we are lacking in all these factors the main one being talent on the pitch..they are trying but are no where near league 2 standard..in order to attract the talent and experience required we need cash we aint got that either and nor do i expect the new Ogden buy in to chuck money at the club..its almost a philanthropic gesture rather than a commercial plan and that again is fine by me |

For me I would stick with Jim.
As stated before I expected us to fall through this league as others such as Stockport and Scunthorpe did.
County I think went thro a multitude of managers before getting back into the football league..poss 8 or 9...Gannon twice?
Perhaps the changes player wise in the summer will see a change in approach..but I’m prepared to be patient at this stage.
This season is over..no harm in having a go we’ve nout to lose |

After their result against our next opponents we could get a proper drubbing.
We've nothing to lose lets hope we become more proactive in an attacking sense
