No, I worked it out in my head, as my mother worked on the enigma project.
Actually, the first bits a lie. A pen and paper, were required!

However, the second bit is true, although she did'nt know it at the time.

She was in the Royal Corps of Signals, based in Harrogate. They were intercepting German transmissions and sending them to Bletchley Park, for decoding.
She never told us what she did until the 30 year rule was up!
Not sure your Parliament/Politburo is going to solve your problems.
But I do wish you the best of luck!

Curryman,

There's one thing that's not an enigma. You won't be Turing around Deepdale this season, mate!

Curryman,
Did you ever work at Bletchley Park?

PS Good article.

The corruption in FIFA has been an open secret, for years.
At last some hard evidence seems available. I just hope the Ringmaster gets dragged in, as well.

It's the best part of 15 years since I signed up.

I really need to get out more!

If this weekends result does'nt go in our favour, I predict the fastest reinstatement in messageboard history!

Just how far under the carpet have the FA swept the Oyston charges?
at 13:29 21 May 2015

The silence is deafening.

Perhaps the committee are all members of the same Lodge?

Has any statement been uttered, at all?

Just tried to log on and got the following message.

Sorry you are currently suspended from the Fansonline network. The reason for your suspension is as follows:
For being a Nobber! #Justice4Tigger

They seem to be getting a tad "masonic" in their attitude.

Are you going to follow suit?

Does Gerrard deserve all this media coverage?

I would suggest the excessive coverage is the media's fault, not Gerrard's.

O/T Your morning after election thoughts
at 17:00 8 May 2015

Robbie,

As David Coleman used to say, "quite remarkable".

Having said that, the tories did have trump card called....... Ed Milliband!

My major concern with Cameron, et al, is the future of the NHS.

A good friend of mine (yes I do have some) who is a very big cheese in the NHS (Director level) says the restructuring started by Andrew Lansley is an unmitigated disaster, costing hundreds of millions and actually making things a whole lot worse.

I confess, I'm no great fan of Cameron and his smug Bullingdon club mates. But I'm not surprised they got in, given the inept performance by the opposition.

As far as the SNP is concerned, it seems to have gone unnoticed that Sturgeon didn't even stand. Talk about having you cake and eating it!

The Labour party need to think long and hard before appointing Millibands successor.
The only credible candidate on the current bunch , in my opinion, is Andy Burnham.

The only solice, for the non blue voter, was the removal of Esther McVey. She has taken "objectionable" to another level!

Still reckon the advice my Dad gave me is well worth remembering. He said, "politicians are like humbugs, their stripes might be slightly different, but they all taste the bloody same"

OT : Election Day
at 22:45 6 May 2015

Robbie,

Do you think voting should be compulsory and one of our statutes?

Someone told me that the Oyston's know a lot about statutes. Well, I thinks that's what he said!

Robbie, where's you match report for yesterday's game?
at 22:28 3 May 2015

Fair comment.

Do you think the chasm between the O's and the fans can ever be bridged? Or is a change of ownership the only solution?

To me, the smug look on Karl Oyston's face, yesterday, spoke volumes.

Setting Colchester a good example? I don't remember a pitch invasion or a raid on the Directors box
Joking apart, where the hell is your debacle going to end? Looks like Oyston doesn't give a toss?
