Saints allowed to get into the game in the second half as they looked for an away goal. Best game I've seen Wanyama play in a Saints shirt. Mané was a joy to watch, he will be a target for some strong tackling again but if he stays injury free he will give any opposition a hard time. |

Need to score to win even with a shite ref. Was disappointed with team selection. I think Reed should have started instead of W-P, and thought where the hell was Mané. Also would have preferred to see Long come on instead of Tadic. Lallana earned enough credit over the years to have deserved a bit better, he's a Liverpool player now, move on. People around me booing him got up and went to the bar 35 mins in and far too many up and left when the second goal went in. It a game of football not a pub crawl for christ sake. Sit in your seat (or stand) and get behind the team till the ref lets you know it's over. |

The writing was on the wall in the first half when they showed they could shoot (apparently we can't). Pelle did well receiving and holding up but with no support. Need a forward and another goalkeeper asap. |

Leicester kept a high back line and frustrated Saints, our final pass was let us down in the first half. The terrible weather served to neutralize Saints superiority over a poor Leicester side who had nothing going forward. Good win though, pleased for Shane Long. |

Harding must have watched that last night and wondered where the hell he went wrong, made the players team of the season last season but has had to sit and watch Fox make so many very basic errors which proved to be so costly.
End of season shopping list for starters, promoted or not.... 2 full backs, a centre back ( Fonte wont survive in the premiership on his current form) and a winger with real pace. Oh and ball distribution lessons for Davis please. |

Saints effectively playing with 10 men till Guly went off, midfield lacking again today. I am sure the pundits will say a draw was a fair result but that was the most important game at St Mary's since Manchester United sent us down and we blew it. |
