Well that worked bringing back Jack Stephens the defence was shite. At least on Wednesday we can have Lyanco and Salisu back in the centre of defence. It would be good to see Walker-Peters and Perraud to play at fullback with Livramento in midfield. |

Something is seriously wrong with our team tactics if on 29th December 2020 we had played 16 games and had 26 points. Now on 23rd April we have played 32 games and have 36 points that means out of the last 16 games all we got was 10 Points. That is total rubbish and just not good enough for a Southampton Football Team.
Big changes are needed and we all know that the defence has not been good enough for the last 3 seasons. At the beginning of the season we attacked at speed and this caused the opponent many problems. But now we spend more time in our own half passing sideways or backwards. Ralph just seems to get his substitution tactics wrong nearly every game. |

Well that was another shambles. Ralph just does not learn from his past mistakes with his tactics. It also seems now that the players are not fit enough. I have always backed Ralph but I now think it is time for him to go. Cant see us getting any more points this season with Ralph in charge. We need someone like Eddie Howe to take us forward. |

This performance was absolutely disgraceful! Southampton fans deserve better than this and need a new owner. One that has an interest in the football team and willing to put money into it. The team has been under funded for several years and this needs to change if we are to stay in the top League. After 25 games last year we had 31 points now we have only 30. Why was Valery aloud to go out on loan when we did not have any cover at right back? Prehaps next game we should play Ramsay he cant do worse than Bednarek last night. I also agree with what others have said about Redmond and he needs to be Dropped. |

Saints are where they are because thy took a gamble and did not buy much needed players in the January Transfer window. Are defence is abysmal the midfield create nothing and the strikers miss to many chances. For 3/4 seasons we have been crying out for a commanding central defender so why have we not got one?

As Nick has been saying are defence is shite. I said before the match why did we have 2 right backs on the bench and then Prowse started at RB? If neither was fit enough for a full game why not play one in each half? Why did Obafemi start over Adams when Adams is a more experienced striker? Why when we were losing 3-1 did Ralph bring on Vestergaard when Adams would have been better bet? Maybe its time to start Gunn in goal and Romeu instead of Hojbjerg. |

With Redmond, Boufal and Walker-Peters all out we don't have a hope of getting anything out of the Villa game. Djenepo runs about like a headless chicken and offers us nothing. It looks like Prowse will be in defence. May be worth trying Ings, Long and Adams up front. |
