I wondered how long the optimism and hope from last week would last. I’ve been buzzing all week. I can keep it going for a bit longer with those match stats. But we need to put teams like Wanderers away, espesh at home, if it is to be the season we all hope for. (as you say in your report of course!)

Terrific report Clive and spot on as always.
After we went one-down, I like to think our cries of ‘can we not pass the fkng thing forwards, for Christ’s sake..’ were overheard by handsome Ron, who, hey presto, then pumps one forward and the whole game changes. Went from being a potentially dreadful away day to a real corker.

Tremendous Clive, even by your very high standards. I live near Halifax and made it down for this one, bringing my 9 year old lad down for the first time as part of his birthday present. What a day we had and an absolute treat to see the Loft rocking with so many happy faces. He loved it. We were lower Loft and behind the goal when Madsen slammed in the winner. We all went bananas - and Ive never seen my son with such a big beam on his face. We then cleaned out the club shop after the match (as a lot of folk did by the look of it!) Muchos blue and white merchos has returned north to West Yorkshire. This is what it’s all about. Proper football at a proper club at a proper kick off time.
