He is 19. Many miles from totally different life in Brazil. He was bought this season to be in the development squad. Larkeche got injured, Paal was sold and RND brought in. He was meant to be third choice at best. The manager has b*ggered this boys confidence up, big time. Not ready - needs a loan at league 2 or top non league level..... |
 | Forum Thread | Positive takes from the day only THREAD at 19:22 28 Feb 2026
Maybe a new thread along with "just got back" Kone, i thought was excellent today. Some very clever footwork and keeping his body shielding the ball and breaking through. No real chances for him today aparr from the goal he scored, but his overall performance today for me was very encouraging !! Edwards was solid and although i thought JCS wasnt yet at his best, it was encouraging to see him on the pitch. Mbengue came on too late for me but we look more in with a chance when he marauding down the wing. Kolli and Smyth also changed the approach a little also. [Post edited 28 Feb 19:33]

 | Forum Reply | Our ‘goal’ today….why was it disallowed? at 18:54 28 Feb 2026
Dunne three pens. Sorry was at the game. I must have missed that. Did not hear the crowd around me feeling hard done by, on any penalty shouts. Cant remember one close call at all. Crikey , i must have been sleep watching... Really !!! Regards the lino, was wondering if he could have cancelled another close call, how he was to get out of the lions den without a scratch. His position could have been under a little angst !!!! [Post edited 28 Feb 18:57]

 | Forum Reply | Something is fundamental wrong with Rangers! at 18:43 28 Feb 2026
i said this at the start of the game. Esquerdinha is a youth player - he may well improve as he is still very young, but he is two years minimum away from the first team and this has been shown on several occasions. Start Vale or JCS at left back today. Its actually very bad management of a youth player, clealry not up to it, basically been hung out to dry. And the fact this is compunded by Saito who has sadly been so weak ane ineffective this season. Last year he seemed ok in defence considering his size, but he is a long way off this, since signing for us. He is anonymous and so lightweight. So realistically Saito is bench at best and Esquerdinha needs time to improve, if he can. i did say that selection alone gives them a two nil headstart. Was so obvious to everyone around me, why cant the entire qpr hierarchy foresee this. [Post edited 28 Feb 18:47]

Ok. You could have just reported the post anonymously. There was no need to announce this publicly. But then you have thrown out much worse abuse to three or four posters and suggested some people need to be disciplined. So, if we are going by your own suggested ideas as to how to moderate the board, you would be the one given the most bans and also for the longest, because even if it is not you that abuses first, you then go and abuse anyone and everyone. i cant understand why you dont learn at all and if i was moderating the board, you would be banned permanently. I dont know why you continue to not learn better ways of reacting Stainrod. You never learn. We are all on the same side, but you seem very adept in appearing that this is not the case by abusing your fellow fans constantly. Its so tiresome. Stop doing it. Anyhow, back in the real world, couldnt understand how on earth the goal we scored was wiped out for offside. Being at the game without the benefit of hindsight and video footage, it was hard to see why, but could have seen us nicking a draw, but the disallowed goal killed the atmosphere and the game, for me. Its going to be the alamo down our left side. Can see at least a couple of goals down that side, although JCS can perform well on the left side of defence, but how long will he play for and how cautious is he likely to be. Wonder if Edwards has a clause in his contract to play a certain amount of games, this season, as at right back for him, am not convinced, and feel Mbengue is by far the better option. | Forum Reply | Should we recall Celar, Field, or Lloyd? at 19:27 27 Feb 2026
CELAR this season 15 appearances, 9 times on bench, not brought on. Zero goals and zero assists. So, as you say foreign players could need a year to adapt - well he is showing nothing in another country, not of his birth. He scored a brilliant hat trick in a pre season friendly, but been a nobody, ever since. So , regards Zan the Man, we need to get rid a la Taylor Richards - its just never going to happen. FIELD - can see Norwich looking at us in the same way we have done with Edwards at Saints, they probably looking to snap him up. For me, this is poor by the club, but can't see Sam playing for us anymore. LLOYD - A lot of endeavour, great enthusiasm, aching to succeed, but is he good enough, or is he the latest incarnation of Ossie Kakay... Think all three for different reasons, won't be seen on the pitch here, again... |

You are a brave fellow PH. Failure will not be tolerated..... I am with Spaceman - oddly confident with actual nothing solid to back up these feelings. Its who we are and what we do. A stirring performance from half a team of youth and half a team of duffers. 3 - 1 to the Rrr's for me. Bennie, Kone and Dunne on the scoresheet [Post edited 27 Feb 19:12]

 | Forum Reply | Will Chair be back to his injury free best? at 19:01 27 Feb 2026
Not sure what's going on with regards Chair. Maybe he wants out, but the comments around his availability some time ago and several training setbacks later and now, suddenly its unknown as to his return. We can all only guess. Is it mental health a la various in our past, has he lost his mojo for the game, are the reported setbacks all actually true but then why do we have no details to stop et al playing a guessing game. Would love Chair to be back soon, but beginning to wonder have we seen the last of him. The smokescreens we have been sent, suggest all is not well, but the lack of detail is worrying. Come back Illy, the fans love you, even if the regime may not.... [Post edited 27 Feb 19:02]

Bloated staff numbers in football. Happens everywhere now as so many staff dont do their real job that much as they are hamstrung by ridiculously over bureaucratic multiple and unneccessary admin. Jobs for the boys - no doubt... But in the real world - quarterly performance appraisals and three strikes and you are out - think the final disciplinary with P45 imminent is a close call right now.... But then, this is football and this is QPR !!!! |
 | Forum Thread | Prediction - Who gets injured on Saturday at 09:15 27 Feb 2026
In order of the latest bookmakers odds ; Kone (Odds on favourite) JCS (Two minutes after coming on as Sub) Dunne (Captains prerogative) Walsh (Unavailable due to Sprained Wrist in Training) Obikwu (Brought in to cover Burrell's absence - but has picked up another setback) Chair (Fell over again between a rock and a hard place) I may well be saying this with tongue firmly placed in cheek; or am I really ??? |

Classic post Hubble... Yes in the 11th minute, lets have a round of sympathetic applause for the eleven that have fallen since the Stoke game and end the round of applause with a rendition of ; "We want Williams out." "Say, we want Williams out." Yes and when the guys come on the pitch with their pitchforks at half time, let there be a cacophony of boos. It's all for the greater good. [Post edited 27 Feb 9:04]

Hope your daughter manages as soon as, to find her way to a happier place A40Bosh. Hopefully time and life experiences get her to a better place in her thoughts. Very tough for you all. Puts into perspective the madness of football and its really not of any importance whatsoever in the grand scheme of things. Wishing you and your daughter well. |

FrancisBowles Numpty isnt a clue to something else, think we can all be Numpties at times.Twenty second decision when i signed up on here and am now forever Numpty. My own personal mental health is all good these days, but wasnt always so. Think you just tend to worry less as you get older, because you realise theres not much point in worrying. Dont change anything for the better or worse, so no point. And you gone through a few things and you realise not much point making life harder than it needs to be. Although for me, if ever a username describes anyone who chooses to support our illustrious superhoops, Numpty could be very apt..... [Post edited 25 Feb 23:03]
