Was making the point sales people are economical with the truth to get the deal.
Some of the spiel i have heard from estate agents, am aware, but any business, its about getting in more money, wasnt suggesting estate agents or on the wages of football agents obviously.
Cant be all it is, otherwise its all rather strange
If you are good, in the next existence on planet zog, QPR have won the Champions League for the tenth season in a row and VAR has been banned as a sadistic satanic ritual !!!
I will consider the meaning of life at 5pm tomorrow. Not sure why that time and day.
My first real proper job at Thames Water, was introduced to three or four lunchtimes down the pub and Fridays was a six pint lunchtime - MAD.
BT - We all had a 45 minute tea break morning and afternoon and 90 minutes lunch cards and dominos etc.
I wanted a decent job but not exactly overworked.
Not sure it did me much good. Became a bit too reliant. Now i rarely drink and feel much better for it.
But the workplace has swung in the opposite direction, most places drink is banned during the working day and could lead to disciplinaries or even let go and most people have a five minute break in trap four of the gents or ladies and sandwiches a staring at a screen if an office worker, whilst working to totally unreasonable deadlines.
Be interested to know what thats been reduced from, but how can they monitor that.
"All we need is a supporter with a few £100M, who is both a brilliant thinker, a good negotiator and owns a top rank data analysing outfit, and doesn't mind using that, his time and money on a hobby, QPR"
I am a supporter
i have a few £100's.
i can complete the occasional su do ku
i got £2k off the asking price for my latest motor giving the salesmen the hard bargain.
i have my own investment analysis systemtheory.
Success bet on Coventry preseason to win Championship 14 to 1 Success bet on Rory Mcilroy 8 to 1 Last years Masters The odd failure bet QPR to get in play offs 22 to 1
As for QPR being my hobby, well i spend money and time following them, but dont think its a hobby as arent you supposed to enjoy hobbies !!!
Anyhow beyond all that when can i start - as my overriding qualification, which surely means i qualify is i have an intermediate qualufication in the use of CHATGBT...
I think we are allowed to create threads that are not neccessarily about QPR on here Myke, last time i looked. Actually was putting it out there, why Millwall who above us already rate the man and yet our transfers all seemingly young and no flexibility. He hasnt been just good against ourself Myke and he has been almost ever present for ten seasons.
But perhaps suggest to the posters who started a thread on Raheem Sterling, one on best three films and ones on Benfica that theres no relevance to those ones starting them on a QPR forum.
Cheers Myke. i take your point but dont understand the logic....
Your phrase , "Pissing n Moaning" got me remembering a thing from the past Colin. My dad's mate used to play golf with various other men that frequented this particular pub they all went to.
This guy was presented most years with the "Pissing and Moaning" trophy.
Perhaps we ought to have an end of season competition on here, likewise.
A number of strong contenders here - could do battle, no doubt !!!!
Everyone moans about politicians and the rank and file on around £80k a year, some with a few extra pennies through illicit means but nowhere near your half decent footballer, and in theory, at least, politicians are making the laws of the land etc and Surgeons or most that work for the NHS saving lives on extremely average wages by way of comparison.
To be fair also, the amount of players that are picking up injury setbacks in training to me is very poor. Is that normal ? I think that is poor.
Normally I am trusting but if people have been consistently guarded in announcements previously and been economical with the truth I look at certain statements with a pinch of salt.
Love to be one hundred percent about this.
WLS are just reporting what the club has said. They seem to be in the know about signings but injuries they can only report what is known to them by way of the club informing them.
There are other reasons to buy a player and half of who we sell, are not likely to earn us much at all.
One who can hit the ground running from day one. Not all signings should be about the potential and the future. Sometimes its very important to get cover for the here and now and players that can help right away.
All about balance sometimes !!!!
He is unlikely to be first choice for Millwall who are doing far better than ourselves also. So he is clearly cover. Madsen could easily get injured. Bannan is 36 and will be 38 at the end of his contract and he has moved to a club who are doing markedly better but he is certainly not going there as a guaranteed first choice. Squad option and a decent one at that, also.
Too much of one thing is sometimes termed being "anal" if you excuse the French.Be interesting to see how he does there.
Yes I know there is another championship thread for transfers but just felt highlighting this particular one because of the man's performances against us for Sheffield Wednesday. And at 36 years of age also.
Millwall very firmly in the play off race and signing a 36 year old on a fairly long term contract for Barry Bannans age.
Do we think Rangers missed a trick here and is going against the model in terms of transfers, sometimes worth breaking.
Think its probably an excellent deal myself. Hardly had any injury troubles in ten seasons. We always seem to sign younger players but all really with injury prone written underneath their player profiles !!!
Ten seasons at Wednesday - seven seasons nearly ever present, three seasons averaging thirty league games.
Below what it means to the guy leaving his football club.
Well now they are saying he has picked up a knock.
The comms team have done this many many times with players over the last couple of seasons.
i dont trust the timelines they give for injuries ie quite often its a smokescreen and not the total truth.
i dont trust the club on these messages - they quite often treat the fans like fools over all this - so far.
If you want to believe everything the club put out as fact, thats absolutely your choice - i unfortunately am sceptical due to past untruths When most of their outputs turn out to be one hundred percent correct, i am afraid, i will treat such press releases with a large dose of salt...
A nice guy who happens to have quite a few more pennies than most in the bank !!
Agents / Estate Agents all done for the love of money and they will say anything to get the deal. The more likeable they are, the greater their ability to secure for themselves a much higher rate of commission.Ie his likeability is a ruse for upping the rates.
Its all about the money. They are ultimately sales people which involves being economical with the truth, but in a nice way, to enable more dosh coming their way.
Not a criticism, its simply the way it is.
Or is your mate having to queue up at the local foodbank....
