Is he injury prone or just not at the right level.
Been on the bench three or four times this season.
But as has been said to not come on when we are winning four and five nil up, even for a brief cameo, probably suggests its unlikely to happen for him here. [Post edited 2 Nov 22:48]

Bill Wyman was with Mandy Smith when she was 13 and I remember at the time it was sensationalised in the national papers as Bill Wyman being a bit of a lad. Very rock and roll. Nothing was deemed weird about it, I seem to remember. How fricking psycho was that.
Sometimes, times do, on the odd occasions, change for the better.

Scottish man I knew 15 years ago for a time, he grew up where Jocky Wilson was and was a mate of his. The bloke I knew probably trained like Jocky on a bottle of Scotch for breakfast.
Sad though an athlete can die so young.
We going to have another one soon in Chris Hoy. One of our all time Olympians early 50s.
Makes you wonder sometimes what exactly is the route to a long and happy life.

Vale and Poku are both very poor defensively. Definitely an issue we need to address. Dembele and Saito likewise. Our only wide man that can defend as well is Paul Smyth.
Maybe Steve Bould needs extra time on the training pitch with these guys doing defensive drills.
We have four or five decent full backs, but against the better teams, we need our wide men up top to help, because the full backs can't do it all alone.
Definitely for me an issue that needs looking at. Saints opened us up on the flanks with ease yesterday !!

Varane i thought was reasonable today, especially first half. Kamara was poor today though.
It shows in the against the best teams we need Madsen.
Madsen and Burrell and we do better. Hope they both return after the international break.
We need at least four points from the two home games, hopefully six and these two come back and we go again.
Southampton are probably the best team in the league but i dont think they got punished enough for cheating. Their manager should have got a six month ban for me, so hope somehow they f**k it up. Really dont like them. |

How about our lilac kit - hate it.
I actually bought the black kit this season. i would wear this for away games and we seem to have had good results in it, but the lilac is just wrong for me.

Sorry chap.
Think you said this in haste.
But you saying it about Kone, who got our quickest hat trick in history in the last game and scored a cracking goal in this one. If other elements of his game failed, remember he is a centre forward.
Saito, Vale and Poku are all inconsistent, but on their days, they are certainly decent.

First half we were generally decent
Poku and Vale were not at their best and sad for Alfie. An inevitable injury and annoying to concede at the death too, but it was a four - one result in terms of their ability to open us up.
I bet on Coventry to win the league last season before the start and managed to get 16 to 1 on Saints this season, and tbf I think its between them and Boro this season.
Our losses are home to Boro, which could have been different and away at Birmingham and Saints.
I dont feel its time to be despondent today. They are just too good for us and the most encouraging thing was a fantastic finish from Kone.
Burnley and Lincoln at home - really need six points from these two games and then we can see where we get to.
I would say it was our worst defensive display this season but perhaps that was more to do with the quality of the opposition.
We move on and hope Alfie's injury is not as feared. |

We need make couple of subs in first 15 minutes of this half. Maybe at 55 minutes but before any chance of a two nil scoreline.
Would bring on Chair and move Smyth wide and take Vale off.
Poku give him a bit longer and maybe Dembele earlier.
Am expecting at some point Ronnie moving into midfield and JCS coming in and probably Kamara off today and not Varane.
Cirkin will get a run out instead of Kemper at some point too. [Post edited 31 Oct 16:15]

I always thought adverts on sites are generally aligned by algorithms as to what you mostly search or look at, but perhaps certain sites ie for example here may have a glitch in that certain advertisers find a way to get their ads on the page visible to site visitors.
If you watch a lot of serial killer podcasts though unsure what the **** comes up on the ads.
I know you can use ad blockers, which can help the functionality of the site, but some are advertised as blockers but actually do the opposite and hack into sites unknowingly by the user.
Am sure there must be a techy guru on here, though that can advise better and exactly what can be done securely.

On new years day in 1992, we annihalated Man Utd 4 - 1 at Old Trafford. Three days later, ironically, we played away at Southampton and lost 2 - 0 with a pretty miserable display.
The scene is therefore set.
For me, it could be 0-0, it could be 3-3. We could lose 3-0, we could win 3-0.
We are QPR !!
