Apparently FIFA have banned England and Scotland from having the Poppy emblem on their shirts in up and coming fixture as it is a "political" emblem. Feck 'em I say and do it anyway. Who cares what an organisation like FIFA think. Anyway how is a Poppy any more political than the 3 lions or lion rampant? Better not have them on the shirts either then!
Enough of the EU stuff. As England always seem to qualify easily but stuggle in competition is it worth having a home international competition which should have a bit more passion and pride and have more intensity than friendlies?
