Ralph Admits Defensive Problems
at 20:08:20

Continue to play the same old tune about the central defence but the club has greater issues which if not addressed wil witness a real collapse of Southampton FC.
We have a Chairman who lets face facts is not interested in the club, has apparently defaulted on securing the 50 % of the shares he was buying from Kat and now has informed us that he will not be investing further money into the club and now it seems wishes to make an exit.
Regarding the team as a whole,we do not seem to have a leader or anybody from our goalkeeper within defence who can read a game or keep concentrating for the whole 96 minutes.
We lack bite in midfield and rely heavily on Ingsy scoring our goals which seem to have dried up.
I really feel sorry for Ralph as I think he is a good manager but has been left with a heavy load on his shoulders.

Perhaps we should also question our goalkeeper who comes off his line flaps about at the ball as a large body appears and also gifts a goal.
The defence starts with confidence in your keeper.
You have to question the desire of the whole team with this performance.

Forget Full Backs It's A Central Defender We Need !
at 20:49:46

Nick,
Why don't you go and apply for a managers job somewhere as you seem to think you have all the answers.
We can all be superb managers sat in our armchairs.
Jack Stephens has been on a constant journey this season of improvement and has shown he can mark, tackle and play a telling pas which creates goals.
Please get off his back let him improve and save this club who lets face it does not have a large transfer fund at least £25 million on some parasite who only wishes to pick up their salary.

Saints V West Ham United The Verdict
at 12:04:20

You have told us all season how bad the defence is Nick.
This is obviously supported by the goals against statistics.
We have other failures all over the pitch.
We do not have a leader, organiser or a player who can assess how the game is being controlled by the opposition and put into place improvements.
We do not have a strong midfield player who can tackle with power and make a killer pass which may just give hope to the forwards.
The forwards are being starved of quality passes and we do not get bodies or balls into the box in numbers which means we are not scoring goals.
The players are far from being fully fit and the coaching staff behind Ralph sit on their seats like dummies.
Ralph I feel is now a forlorn figure where the whole sqaud and coaching staff are just not turning up to the plate.
We now know if you sell all the family silver you end up bankrupt which is what will happen as we tumble down the leagues as did Sunderland.

We are not a bad team as quoted, just have forwards who don't score goals and have not got a creative midfield.

Saints V Watford The Preview

This article states the defence is terrible and we know we can score goals.
Excuse me if the forwards had taken all the chances they had against Arsenal we would have been out of sight before the pressure was placed on the defence in the 96th minute when they buckled.
Nick you bad mouth the team on this site and then expect the "fans" to really get behind a team who you have put down.
Let's hope they do the business and we enjoy a 3-0 victory.

Board Shake Up Needed
at 19:30:27

Well Nick as you have all the answers to the woes of Southampton Football Club, perhaps you should pop round and see Mr GAO the next time he takes the unprecedented decision to turn up to a match and advise him to spend some of the £180 million which he did not spend on purchasing the club on improving the playing squad if your figures are correct as quoted in your article.
Perhaps the fans should keep totally quiet regarding our concerns as it seems to touch a few of your raw nerves.

Stephens,Stephens,Stephens,
Nick we all know how much you hate him but to make your comment, actually we are not a board team,I really begin to wonder which football team you are watching.
We do not exactly have confidence in goal!the defence do not communicate and are totally at a loss how to defend.
The midfield allow attacking forces to run though them apart from Romeou who has to take cards on behalf of the team on many occasions. They cannot pass to save their lives and this creates starvation of the ball to the forwards who do not score goals.
The whole club is in a complete mess, with an owner who is also chairman and rarely at the club.
By the way how long ago was when Saints actually won at st Mary's,and on a final point we lose 9-0 at home to Leicester but we are not a bad team in your eyes Nick so all is honey at St Mary's.

Saints Scapegoats Show They Have Fight
at 20:19:56

An article written by a man who has criticised Jack Stevens at every opportunity.
Suffering with loss of memory are we Nick???
I feel a professional footballer who plays as a creative midfielder should be able to at least deliver corners with expertise when he is receiving the salary being paid.

Ings Misses Spurs Game
at 21:29:51

Well having read articles regarding the Saints accounts for 2017/18 season and registered that the profits are down to £35.2 million which takes into account the sale of Van Dijk and Rodrigues I am somewhat concerned as to what is going to happen regarding the purchase of players next season.
We have £19 million committed for the purchase of Ings who hardly seems to play and I heard the MD of Saints in an interview earlier today state that Mr GAO will not be investing money into the club and it will have to be self sufficient in its transfer dealing.
We are left with players who are not worth a lot and we could be playing in the Championship next season so how under the current club structure will the club survive especially with the salaries some of our non playing players are on.
I really feel sorry for our manager Ralph.

Saints Targeting Hasenhuttle's Ex Players
at 16:58:44

I just wonder if any club will want any of the players we place on the transfer list.
We also have to pay £20 million for the privilege of signing Danny Ings, who Liverpool have stitched us with. Not played now for how many games.
Add this to Mr Kruegers comments of a quiet January,I cannot see any signings.

Saints At Fulham The Verdict
at 15:32:36

M/s Leibherr,Krueger, and Reed sold all of our class players to attract a business man?, to purchase 80% of the club for a reported £210 million.
This payment was made we are told with borrowed money which is now a debt around the neck of Southampton FC.
The club still has to find £20 million for the purchase of Ings should he decide to stay.
Add to this toe pay off for the removal of Reed and the previous two Managers, and I do not think Saints can afford to remove Mr Hughes,or entice a quality Manager to join the club.
We have a board of directors whose only interest over the last four years has been to sell all the assets, without any thought of the supporters who have supported this club for years and they have transformed it into the worst club on the south coast and the laughing stock of the primership.
Until this board employs a director who has a football background I feel it will continue on a downward spiral with the current lack of leaders, ambitions and knowledge of football.

Hughes Not Quite Favourite For The Sack

So sir Nick, the people who scream for the board to be sacked do not have a clue.
The only way Southampton FC have raised monies to purchase inferior players has been to sell the assets of the club,
Where are two of our recent wonderful sibgnings now.
Out on loan still costing the club a fortune, along with Forster not even playing for any team but picking up £75,000:00 a week?.
The only way this club is going will be the same way Mr Les Reed dragged Charlton, into oblivion.
