This is absolute rubbish. The problem with sports journalism today is any numpty with a computer and internet access can write a story and websites like news now spread those stories. We were never in for JWP. We actually have better midfielders than him in the squad. I read the story that said he rejected us. It was written by some spotty teenager (forest fan) 😂

No thanks, for me in the prem season we went down I don’t think he did his job as captain well enough. The young players we signed that season needed someone like Prowse the captain to lead and help them but for me he didn’t do that. I was probably one of the only supporters saying we need to sell him. For me we have a better player now in Flynn Downes. So let’s forget Prowse and move onto a keeper that can fit in to the way we play. |

Totally agree with everyone here. O'Riley needs to be our priority if we are spending 25 million on a player, and I would say keep Tall Paul, he would probably be very successful with O'Riley feeding him. Then Ramsdale on loan would be equally important! |

I would take Ings back in a heart beat but I suspect he has already agreed personal terms. I actually think he is making a huge mistake going to West Ham. At his age he needs to play evry single game and at Southampton he would get that. Such a shame as with all the other additions we are making to the squad he would be the cherry on the cake.
I bet West Ham are payng him a fortune above the 120'000 a week he is currently on at Villa. He is probably looking at getting in as much money as he can before he hangs up his boots. Sad really but if he doesnt want to be with us then middle finger emoji insert here :) and saints will find an equally as good if not better player to fill the roll. COYR!! |

Ralph had to go now. Number 2 can take care of the remaining games before the world cup. He cant do any worse than Ralph! and hopfully he will play players in posistion like armstrong as a striker. YYou never know he might even be able to get Armstrong to start scoring. But Ralph had to go. Anyone saying we should have kept him for the remaining games before the WC needs looking at them selves. Ralph really should have gone 5 games ago if now at the end of last season. |
