We WILL make The Playoffs, a magnificent achievement, given the disaster of last Season.
To be in The Playoffs with 80+ points, is worth celebrating. Forget what could have been if we'd won more points. That Ship has sailed.
Stay Fit. We are definitely a Top 3 Side. The Playoffs are a completely different game experience to the normal League Fixtures. 80% possession won't necessarily win you the game, but an attacking determination to do or die, more than likely wins the games.
Draw on the experience of Players who've progressed through the Play Offs. We are more than capable of progressing.
For our financial future we need to be back in The Premier League.
Should we achieve promotion in the first year following relegation, that would be a magnificent achievement, and the Players and RM would deserve much praise.
I hope we play WBA in the first games, then, I hope it's Ipswich or Norwich in the Final.
We can do this. It's no good saying if RM had made different decisions we should've, could've got more points.

Pintsizedsaint - The Epistle to the Apostle, that😄 Good Read, nonetheless. My view on Koeman is that getting him back is a ‘No Brainer’. We will be Relegated if we retain Pellegrino as Manager. Les, and the Club Spin On Koeman’s departure was not flattering to him. I was sorry to see him go. I was more than comfortable with his two years in the ‘Hot Seat’. I felt that he was the right Man for our Club. The Two disasters that followed him have been so disappointing.

Liverpool, ‘Back In’ for VVD, is an incorrect statement. NO CLUB, INCLUDING LIVERPOOL, HAVE TO DATE MADE A BID FOR VVD. Our Club have not had to make any decision as to the possibility of VVD moving out.
Liverpool have issued a Statement stating that they have ended interest in VVD.

Disappointingly, Mr Puel tinkered with the side to face Inter, last time out. It made the task of beating them much more difficult. Luckily, we won in the end.
Fonte and Tadic aren't even in the Squad, ( Yes I know Tadic has a busted Face ), though I read the excuse that Fonte has a foot injury. Seeing as he hasn't played in the UEL at all, there is no doubt that Mr Puel will put out a weakened Side again. If fit, Bertrand must start, along with Cedric. If we win tonight, we could be on our way to qualifying for the next stage. |

Rotate for the Cup & Europa League Games, BUT ALWAYS play strongest side in Premier League Games. Retaining our position in the Premier League should be the Club's number 1 Priority. We've already dropped 4 points to Watford and Sunderland, and made hard work at beating Swansea yesterday.
Ironically, we profess to aim for European Qualification each Season, and then put out Resrve Sides in the very Competitions that we are likely to have a chance in Qualifying. For us, we have little or no chance of a Top 6 finish in the Premier League. The Game against Palace is likely to be between 2 Reserve Sides. Let's hope our Reserves are better than Palace's.
Nathan Redmond, a fine young Player, is NOT a Striker. When we brought on a Striker yesterday, he scores and we win the Game. Mr Puel seems more pleased at keeping 'clean sheets', rather than scoring Goals to actually win Games. 1 Goal a Game is not good enough. We've only scored 4 Goals in 5 league Games, hence we are in the Lower League Pack, currently 14th.

They do have more experience in European Competitions. 'That Bloke that we used to know' is doing rather well at Spurs. The way the top teams in the League are underperforming, as much as it hurts to say so, Spurs are 'Dark Horses' for the Title. The injury to Vertonghen might rock the boat though, but I think Top 4 at minimum is there for the taking.
Personally, I loathe Levy, and the way Spurs conduct their business. I'm hoping that he/they fall flat on their faces in their new ground project. I see that Levy has just mugged off Newcastle for £12m for Townsend, but that won't stop him unsettling players from other Clubs.
We, as a Club, should have NO dealings with Spurs in any shape or form. They are the Pariahs of the Premier League. |
