Well done Dale from H/pool

It was one of those games unfortunatly.We missed a sitter in the first minute,then Bury broke & scored through our keeper dropping a clanger.
They hit us on the break again to go 2 up.2nd half was total one way traffick(we had over 20 corners),but we just couldn't score.
Give credit to Bury though,they defended well & are good, quick on the break.
They also have a bloody good player in Nardiello,i wish we still had him.

Apart from the Bury defeat,we've been pretty solid in defence,but the goals have dried up due to teams doubling up on James Poole & Luke James.
We've improved a hell of a lot since the first day of the season,just hope it's a case of after the lord mayors show for you lads !!

Just watched the highlights & it looked like you won fairly easily,with 2cracking goals.
Hills built a good side there & I'm expecting you to beat us next week.

The lock-in

Some of our fans were fighting with each other on the way back to the coach's,we seem to have certain away games and this happens.
Anyway well done today,your baldy midfielder ran the show for dale.
Our youngsters did ok,but the senior we're crap,I think we're in for a long season
How many pools fans were there?

We're supposed to be getting a couple of decent Boro kids,whether we do or not is another thing.

Always enjoy Bury,we have a good record there,unlike at your place.

Would think we'll bring around 400.

Hi Lads
Looking forward to next week & the start of a new season.
We're not sure what sort of season we'll have, as we've kept most of the players that failed miserably last season,only signed 2 new players & one of our best has left for Tranmere.
We did go on a run from Febuary onwards,but it was too late,the damage had already been done.
We're hoping that Cooper will give the youngsters a chance.
Luke James played towards the end of the season & earned rave reviews,James Poole has had a good pre-season & looks fit,Brad Walker is another young lad who we're hoping starts on saturday,Jack Baldwin had a great season at centre half, then midfield.
It's going to be a tough season for us & i would be well pleased if we managed a top 10 finish.
What about Dale?
