They have Jimmy Dunne who's an excellent championship defender and I don't think 5 at the back suits any of ours No natural wing backs and with 3 centre halves they just look confused and don't have clear instructions or coaching of how to play in that system |

Just don't lose ffs It would be unbearable on my manor if we lose to those fookers |

Im happy to be proven wrong but I've yet to see any benefits I've always had the feeling that we were the cash cow that was being used to fund the two other sides I think that Brighton are part of a multi club set up but the difference their is that their chairman is Tony Bloom, a lifelong Seagulls fan who makes decisions on what's best for the club, not what will make him the most money Apologies for yet another negative post this evening! Very true They have a small squad and injuries will potentially take their toll They also played him as a defensive midfielder at times last season as he can pick a pass |

A lot to unpack in that horror show What struck me was how square we looked and despite having loads of bodies in the box, no-one took any responsibility Whilst Bazunu was at fault for 2 of them imo, he's not exactly being helped by hopeless defending in front of him Yet another example of the lack of leaders on the pitch, no=one dishing out b*ll*ckings, all got their heads down and trudging back to the centre circle [Post edited 4 Jan 18:42]

I would imagine QPR would be all over getting him back if were looking to sell According to a QPR supporting pal they wanted to sign him in August but we wouldn't do a deal They loved him when he was on loan last season, best centre half they've had since Alan McDonald according to my pal |

George Long is an abysmal keeper, makes Joe Lumley look like Lev Yashin I don't think Norwich could quite believe their luck when we took him on loan I can understand playing 3 centre halves with wing backs if you're not conceding many goals, but we've shipped about 40? so far this season |

Also known as the Saganowski effect We needed to bring in an experienced manager in the summer, one with a big enough character and ego to deal with the mess he inherited and make the players aware that previous standards would not be tolerated Unfortunately the owners were never going to do that, an experienced manager would probably be telling the board some uncomfortable home truths about how badly the club is being run and their processes were totally flawed Instead we got a weak personality vacuum who the players had no respect for and now an inexperienced U21 coach and staff who has quickly been found out and looks totally lost |

Yep its a sobering thought Bypassed by powerhouses like Brentford and Bournemouth in the top league Now getting schooled by Oxford and Millwall Happy new year! |

Sadly I'm not surprised anymore after what's happened over the last 18 months Stuck SSN on and when Boro went 3 up my missus looked at me and grimaced I just shrugged my shoulders and went out for a cig in the back garden Utterly grim result in a pretty grim time following The Saints |

At the risk of getting pelters and stating the obvious, Sport Republic aren't going anywhere They bought an established Premier League club at a price that reflected that, the value of the club is nowhere near that now. Add in the money they've wasted on dreadful recruitment of managers and players, selling up now would mean a huge loss. You also have to add in the complications of being tied to a multi club model If never ceases to amaze me the level of incompetence of these owners and the fact that they never learn from previous mistakes |

I predict that Garner will be put in interim charge before the blades game The club will wheel out Stephens who'll say "Garno's doing a great job as coach and the lads are all right behind him" Rinse and repeat |

Most recently employed by the right to dream accademy Now employed by the no right to expect anything other than mid table mediocrity Probably glad to be in work and won't rock the boat in trying to change the 5 at the back system that seems to be forced on every manager Hopefully he'll do and good job and ill be wrong Edit. I did say on a previous thread that TE needed an experienced assistant and it appears that he is [Post edited 4 Jan 14:25]

36 in March and hasn't played a competitive game in over a year following a horrific car accident Sadly a no from me, he's played even less football than Romeu in 12 months and lots of people have already written him off as being past it |

Awoniyi wouldn't be a bad signing imo Been out injured and now not getting much game time at Forest Might give us a bit of presence up front which we are severely lack at the moment Getting a decent squad player from a premier league club on loan should improve us greatly, I thought Brooks was an excellent addition a couple of years ago |

I could be wrong but wasn't the capacity closer to 30,000 then? When I started going in 1982 it was about 25,000 |

Seeing as there seem to be a lot on here who go to gigs, The Shack thread was the reason I finally joined after years of reading this site Mine were- Mogwai at Glasgow Barrowland, wanted to go to this venue for years, excellent night out and my ears were still ringing the next morning after the full on sonic assault Beck at The Albert Hall, he played with a full orchestra and loads of lesser known songs from the Sea Change and Morning Phase lps Baxter Dury at Hammersmith Apollo, fantastic night out, played most of his new lp Allbarone which is probably my favorite I've bought this year Also saw Jane Weaver, LCD Soundsystem and a special mention for The Bug Club, I'd never heard of them but a mate had a spare ticket, great fun and any band that has a song called Lonsdale Slip ons is worth a listen imo What were yours? Fair enough To be honest I've only seen him play twice this season, against Liverpool in the cup when he looked pretty good and Preston when the whole team looked a disorganized rabble He's probably one of the few that we might get our money back on |
